BIG ANNOUNCEMENT — TESLA ENGINEERING DEEP-DIVES SERIES
I’m about to launch a new CTD series: deep engineering dives into Tesla products, technologies and manufacturing.
Not just what a design does, but why it exists, what it buys Tesla, and the tradeoffs its engineers are balancing.
The closest comparison I can think of is the teardown work from Sandy Munro and @MunroLive — minus the physical teardown.
Some topics will cover things most people barely know exist. Others will start with familiar Tesla features, but go several layers deeper — until seemingly unrelated design decisions start connecting into one engineering system.
I’ve been an engineer my entire working life, and I love this stuff.
With this series, I want to help spread that love of engineering and manufacturing — and a deeper understanding and appreciation of the extraordinary, elite-level engineering happening at Tesla.
I’m planning to make CTD and related projects my full-time focus very soon, and I’m really eager to make this series a major part of it.
But truly deep engineering dives take a huge amount of research and work — and sometimes get surprisingly little traction.
So I want to know there’s an audience here that wants this level of depth.
If that’s you, please like this post and leave a comment. It helps me gauge how much appetite there is for going this deep.
And most importantly: subscribe to Connecting The Dots and turn on the notification bell.
I don’t publish on a rigid schedule. Some of these subjects take much longer to research than expected, so new videos can appear unexpectedly in your YouTube feed — and may not stay prominently surfaced there for long.
Subscribe + Bell is the best way to make sure you don’t miss the series.
I’m going deep where the engineering warrants it.

🚨 NEW TESLA PRODUCT COMING? 👀
In my latest video, I shared a prediction about a new Tesla product I believe is coming soon - and it’s something nobody is talking about yet.
I mentioned I’d make a full video on it, but I also promised a hint… and during editing, I accidentally left it out
The only hint I'll give is this pic👇
Take your best guess in the comments - what do you think Tesla is about to release?
And if you missed the video, watch it here:
