Dear queen of the boardroom, the clock strikes five,
Your self-care weekend is about to arrive!
Forget the reports and the endless Zoom,
It’s time for joy, not office gloom.

Quick stats for you: It’s science, my friend,
Self-care boosts your output by 64%—no pretend!
So here’s your permission slip, signed with flair,
Take the weekend—you're in the self-care chair!

Step one: Turn your phone on silent, we dare,
Your inbox can wait; the world won’t despair.
Step two: Dance like nobody’s peeping,
Even if the neighbors think you're "weekend-weird creeping."

Feeling fancy? Try a facemask or two,
Or binge that show you’ve been dying to view.
Order takeout and call it gourmet,
Who needs to cook on their personal spa day?

A bubble bath calls—rubber ducky is key,
Throw in some candles for "relaxation degree.
Or grab a journal, jot dreams with pride,
Plot a revolution or what’s deep inside.

If exercise is more your speed,
Stretch or strut—whatever you need.
Want a laugh? Pull up TikTok and scroll,
Feel no shame; it’s good for the soul.

But here's the kicker (drumroll, please):
Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s your expertise.
Because when Monday strikes, your glow will say,
“This boss babe rules—she SLAYS every day!”

Amazed at the evolution of peace in my life. Yall, my water heater went out causing a outdoors flood crossing 2 lawns, crackling sounds in the attic and crackling noises from the pipes in the garage. I said ok God, what are you going to do about it? Give me the road map. And he did just that! He told me to call the plumber and he will supply (my needs).

The moral is, when things are out of your hands, take control by letting go of control to regulate your mood. it's there (that emotional state) that will give you a strategy to get you to where you need to go/be next. God is with you. Have peace in the storm (yes, that's a real thing). Happy Saturday !!! 🌟🌟
