My goal is to show you how to make all these amazing dishes in easy, step by step guides. No complicated techniques, expensive equipment or ridiculously hard to get ingredients. Just easy to follow tutorials and mouth watering food! Everything you need to go on your own culinary journey to the Far East.
I have 2 passions, photography and food - particularly Chinese & Asian food. I'm a professional photographer by trade but both my parents were chefs so food has always been a huge part of my life. I worked for years in my Mum's Chinese takeaway so I have lots of recipes and secrets to share with you.

The last time I looked up it was January. I blinked and the next thing I know it’s September and I’m about to complete another orbit of the sun.
This year, nothing has gone to plan because quite simply, it’s been the craziest year I’ve ever experienced and there hasn’t really been any chance to plan in the normal sense.
I am quite somewhat discombobulated.
But I am grateful ❤️

Back at my favourite tree this morning. It’s been FOUR months since I last walked here. It’s been a crazy period.
For those that don’t know, my amazing son has been rehearsing and performing in the Royal Shakespeare’s touring production of Matilda the Musical. So the last 4 months has been a blur of getting him daily to and from rehearsals (over an hour away), endless waiting around, and then preparing him for going away on tour and getting him to and from pick up points.
It’s been crazy busy, stressful, amazing, exciting, joyous, emotional - all the adjectives!!! But it’s been so worth it. Seeing him on stage performing in front of thousands of people has been THE proudest moments of our lives.
The tour is currently on a break so that the kids can get to school for a week. So momentarily our lives are ‘normal’. Kobi has started secondary school this week which is normally the most stressful part of a child’s life but of course him being him, he’s taken it all in his stride.
I know some of you have been asking where I’ve been for the last few months, and I do apologise for not posting videos during this period.
Mostly when creators stop it’s because they need to take a break for personal reasons etc.
I have to say that my reason is somethingI could not be happier about.
And I’ll be back soon 😊❤️

Apologies for being so quiet recently. Things have been happening and we are on quite a journey at the moment.
Some of you might have seen my son Kobi appearing in my videos, and it appears that performing side of my character has rubbed off on him.
Kobi has always loved to sing and act and dance, something we always encouraged, and he started classes about 18 months ago. Anyway in January he had his first audition - a big one for the RSC's Matilda the Musical. And he only well flippin' got the part!!!
Well we've been taxiing him to and from rehearsals for the last 8-9 weeks and therefore everything else has had to be put on hold.
Apologies again but I think you'll agree that it's been worth it 🙂

I have a favour to ask you all. I would love to know how important the authenticity of food is and what it means to you.
The altercation shown in the screenshots happened a few years ago but it still opens up the unnecessarily thorny question of what ‘authentic’ food is.
I want to make a video about this and I would like your input so please let me know your thoughts in the comments.
