I'm Kyle, a U.S. Army veteran. My full-time life on the road started in early 2023. These days, my Baja rescue dog, Sur — aka That Dog Outdoors — rides shotgun.
This is That Guy Outdoors: real, raw, and unscripted life on the road. Come along for hikes, dirt roads, beach camps, fires with friends, and the everyday shit that happens between the adventures. We're figuring it out as we go, with plenty of time outside along the way.
It all started with a Subaru Outback Wilderness and a TAXA Outdoors Cricket. Now we're building a custom truck home around how we actually live and travel. Follow the build, then come see where we take it.
I'm also the guy behind Wild Latitude Coffee. There's usually a cup brewing wherever we land.
New videos every other week. Subscribe and come along. If you find us out there, say hi — Sur says treats are the admission fee.
See ya down the road.
