Hey all! Just letting you know that my merchandise site is currently down and will be for an indefinite amount of time. I am overhauling the whole thing to fix some issues and modernize. Last I edited the site was 3 years ago...
Thanks for your patience, there's much more to come!
It’s so unbelievably cool to see my great-great-great aunt and uncle sing on video! (They’re my great-grandfather’s aunt and uncle. He took this video of them on Halloween night of 1990)
I’m absolutely honored to share that I’ve accepted an offer to join Union Pacific Railroad as a Sales & Marketing Intern for the Summer of 2026!
All my life I've been endlessly fascinated by the sight of Union Pacific’s massive yellow locomotives rumbling through my hometown. From the rhythmic chug of the GEVO locomotives from my childhood, to the smoother purr of the newer SD70ACe-T4s that have since taken their place, the railroad has always drawn me in with their awesome displays of power, precision, and sheer magnitude.
Ever since I was young, my Opa, Randy Norman, and I have built thousands of memories around those moments. Together we’ve chased Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014 across the nation through multiple tours — including the 2019 UP 150th Anniversary Tour, the 2021 Big Boy Tour (where we had the chance to truly “Experience the Union Pacific” aboard the Promontory experience car in Fort Worth, Texas), and most recently, the 2024 Heartland of America Tour. Those adventures didn’t just grow my love of railroading, they deepened my appreciation for the legacy, innovation, pride in heritage, and most importantly, the people, that make Union Pacific what it is.
These internships are highly competitive, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Union Pacific’s 156-year legacy of Building America. To now work in Omaha, right in the heart of America’s "Great Big Rollin' Railroad" that helped create so many of my core memories, and continues to connect communities across the nation, is an absolute honor.
I’m selling some great HO scale locomotives on eBay to help fund more trips and projects for the channel! From Burlington Northern to Union Pacific, these models are ready to roll into your collection. Check them out here: www.ebay.com/usr/redriverrailfan_24
All proceeds go directly to supporting the channel, helping me bring you more railfan adventures, historic trains, and awesome content. Thanks for your support! 🙌
