Welcome to my channel! This is a safe space for those who are looking for support or education around endometriosis, or just a friendly face to share life chapters with! My channel is a mix of my chronic illness journey, motherhood, and everything in between!
Whether you’ve been formally diagnosed with a chronic illness or are on your way towards finding answers, know that you are not alone in what you’re going through!
*not providing medical advice - just a channel created by a patient who shares her personal journey and the research she’s found🤍 If you have any new, changing, or recurring symptoms - it's always good to get it checked by your doctor.

New research reveals a stark reality in Canada's health-care system: more patients are traveling abroad for specialized care (specifically to the United States, Romania, and Mexico). A landmark study published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada (JOGC) shows that over 80% of surveyed patients were dissatisfied with their domestic endometriosis care, with the average cost of surgery abroad reaching $31,500 CAD! This is unacceptable - Canadian endometriosis patients deserve better.

Lots of national news coverage this week around endometriosis (which is amazing to see and to have awareness around it) but the stories tell a difficult picture for care in Canada. My upcoming video this week is going to talk all about it: the wait times for care in Canada, and the recent surge of patients leaving the country for surgery.
Keep your eyes peeled for a full deep dive this week 🤍

It’s Thanksgiving this weekend in Canada and I am thankful for so much (top of the list is our community). I think about the fact (for me at least) that this is probably one of the safest places I have found on the internet. The comments, the support, the DMs, the questions without worrying if we’re coming off “too much,” the community around each of us to know we aren’t alone on the bathroom floor.
We are safe to be ourselves.
I am incredibly grateful for all of you for not only making me feel less alone, but for supporting others every step of the way 🤍🍂🍁

I made the guide I wish I’d had when I was first diagnosed. For the appointments, the hard conversations, and the fight for more awareness. You don’t have to figure it all out alone 🤍

Advocacy with endometriosis shouldn’t feel like a full time job. I put together an advocacy handbook to help every step of the way (in doctors appointments, relationships, and politically for more awareness for endo). 71 pages of pure support - just for you 🤍🤍

15,000 of you (which should be a happy thing). But in a weird way it’s sobering … it shows me that so many of you know the same pain, discomfort, dismissal, confusion, and lack of awareness around endo that I’ve felt for years.
15,000 who tune in and join me alongside my own journey for answers as I show up (oftentimes anxious behind the camera) on this small slice of the internet.
15,000 who comfort others on my channel. All of you showing up for others as they start their journey. I see it when it happens and it reminds me that this isn’t my channel - it’s ours. A safe place to ask questions, learn and grow, together.
Thank you for being here, and for allowing me to show up imperfectly and vulnerably every step of the way.
🤍
