NEW ROOF? 😳

John was up bright and early Saturday morning… and before long he was back up on the cottage roof. 🙈😂

What’s he doing up there this time?

And more importantly… are we really looking at a new roof? 👀🏡

We’re back in the kitchen again this week, and I could really use your opinions on this one. 🇮🇪🏡

We had one of those lovely little renovation wins over the weekend… followed fairly quickly by the reminder that old houses rarely let you get too comfortable. 😂

There’s also a little first in this week’s video while John is working — I’m not giving it away, but see if you spot it.

The big question this week is the space beside the oven. We’ve been playing around with a few different ideas and I’d genuinely love to know what you would do there. Sometimes someone mentions something in the comments that we hadn’t even considered.

Have a watch and tell me which option gets your vote. And if there’s someone in your family or friends who always has an opinion on kitchens or renovations, send it to them too — the more ideas the better. 😂💚🇮🇪

📖 The Story Begins…

There’s something special about ending the week with a good story.

I thought I’d share a few pages from The Blank Pages today. I might even give away a little spoiler… 👀

So if you’ve got a cup of tea in hand, I’d love for you to come and listen.

This weekend felt different.

For the first time, John and I worked side by side from start to finish on the same project… and somehow everything just clicked.

There were plenty of laughs, a few coffees along the way, and by the end of the weekend we had something we’re really proud of.

But… can you guess what we built? 🤔
