As a licensed, practicing attorney, my goal is to provide commentary & information on noteworthy legal & true crime cases, such as the 2014 murder of FSU law professor Dan Markel & DC lawyer Robert Wone's 2006 murder. Some content will be on the lighter side with comedy. This channel is dedicated in memory of George C. Lin, the founder of the DC APA Film Festival and president of the San Diego AA Film Festival, who encouraged me to continue making creative works as a form of empowerment. "Asian American Focus" was a public access television show produced through The Peoples Channel (Channel 8) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina from 2001-2008. Guests were notable local and out-of-town community leaders, artists, writers, and scholars with an "Asian American Focus." Thank you to Matthew Burke, the late director of the station, for allowing us to produce the show.

This is probably made through AI but is an excellent summary of the Mamta Kofle Bhatt murder case. She was a nurse, originally from Nepal, who lived in Manassas, Virginia & was married to defendant Naresh Bhatt for 3 years. They had an 11-month old daughter when Mamta disappeared in July 2024. Her body has not been found. Naresh's trial continues next week, although it is uncertain whether he will testify.

The prosecution is almost done presenting its case against Naresh Bhatt in Manassas, Virginia, for the murder of his wife Namta Bhatt. She went missing in late July 2024, and although her body hasn't been found, Naresh was arrested a few weeks later. They had briefly separated earlier that year and had been having marital problems.

Thanks to @ThisIsLeslieB for breaking the news about Charlie Adelson's child's mother, who was arrested 9/30 for allegedly shoplifting over $300 worth of trading cards from a Greensboro Target with another person. In her Affidavit of Indigency, Price said she was unemployed and getting food stamps, with no assets or other sources of income. Before being arrested & convicted of Dan Markel's murder, Adelson was a wealthy periodontist and landlord in S. Florida. His mother Donna Adelson (also convicted of murder and sentenced to life) was on a recorded call several years ago, saying that his son would be taken care of.
