I went from only knowing survival as a child, a teenager, and even into early adulthood.
Now, through restoration, God, choosing myself, the love of my family, and yes… money too 💰🤑🤣🤏🏾… I’ve finally become the soft, whimsical, vibrant woman who was always inside of me.
This is why I’m finally telling my Married Widow story.
Not so anyone feels sorry for me. Not so my life is defined by grief. But because I want people to see that healing is possible. That redemption is real. That joy can exist after unimaginable pain.
My story isn’t about staying in darkness. It’s about proving that light still finds you. ✨🤍

At the time, I thought I was simply getting ready for a wedding. I had no idea that night would change so many lives forever.

Baby… that was just what happened that day.
Y’all haven’t even seen the lasting effects his suicide had on my life.
I still can’t drive anywhere near the Golden Gate Bridge without my anxiety going through the roof. The last time I went over it, I had a full-blown panic attack. I was hyperventilating so bad I couldn’t feel my fingers or my toes.
That’s why I don’t let people tell me how I should tell my story or how I should’ve healed. Y’all only know pieces of what happened. I had to live the aftermath.
