Jesus died for our sins. But did he bear God’s punishment in our place?
That question will bring James R. White @AominOrg , Stephen De Young, Jeffrey Johnson, Jeremiah Nortier, Will Hess @TheChurchSplit , to Jonesboro, Arkansas, for The Great Exchange Conference.
They don’t all agree. On March 12 and 13, 2027, you’ll hear the arguments brought face to face through two debates and two teaching sessions focused on the atonement.
What does Scripture teach? Come with your Bible open and ready to examine what you hear.
Ticket sales will be announced soon. Seating is limited, so mark your calendar and watch this page for the registration announcement.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with my good friends Miley Nolan and Francie @GraceandTruthfellowshipuk for a powerful conversation about their journey out of Pentecostalism, their convictions about Scripture, speaking in tongues, the doctrines of grace, and the cost of standing firm in what they believe.
Was Matt Slick @carmvideos able to expose a fatal flaw in @AKRichardson understanding of UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION? 👀
Join me LIVE on The Apologetic Dog as I sit down with Matt Slick to review his recent debate against A.K. Richardson!
We’ll break down the key moments, examine the biblical arguments, and discuss the theological inconsistencies that surfaced during this intense debate!

On March 12 and 13, 2027, Twelve 5 Church and The Apologetic Dog are hosting The Great Exchange Conference in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Put these dates on your calendar now, and invite someone to come with you. Seating is limited. Watch for the ticket announcement and be ready to reserve your spot when registration opens.
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Lucas Curcio from @methodministries for a really important conversation about Provisionism, Calvinism, and Arminianism.
One of the biggest takeaways is that Provisionism is not simply another form of Arminianism. There are significant differences between all three systems, and those differences are worth actually discussing.
At the same time, Christians who affirm the gospel of grace should be able to unite around the essentials of the faith while still having honest, charitable conversations about secondary disagreements without getting angry, attacking one another, or treating every disagreement like a gospel-level issue.
We talked through where these views overlap, where they sharply differ, and why these conversations can actually be helpful when Scripture remains the standard and Christian charity governs the discussion.
👀 Go check out the full interview and let me know in the comments:
Do you think Christians do a good job distinguishing between gospel essentials and important secondary doctrines?
Have you watched the most recent episode that was released earlier today? 👀🔥
Gavin Ortlund, Augustine & the Problem With Ecumenism
We’re talking about baptism, Augustine, church history, Roman Catholicism, justification by faith alone, and one of the biggest questions Christians have to wrestle with:
How do we pursue biblical unity without compromising the truth of the gospel? Definitely go check this one out, and let me know what you think in the comments!
Tonight I’ll be joined by Ryan Hemelaar from @NeedGodnet as we review his recent debate with a Roman Catholic apologist over one of the most important questions anyone can ask:
How can a person have eternal life?
We’ll break down the debate, examine the biblical gospel of grace, discuss faith, works, justification, and assurance of salvation, and look carefully at where the Protestant and Roman Catholic understandings of salvation fundamentally differ.
Ryan did a fantastic job defending the gospel, and I’m really looking forward to walking back through some of the key moments with him.

🔥 HAVE YOU WATCHED TODAY’S NEW VIDEO? 🔥
“Jacob I Loved, But Esau I Hated!” — Romans 9:13
Earlier today, I released a new video interacting with Nate Sala of @WiseDisciple and his understanding of Romans chapter 9!
Does Romans 9 teach ONLY the election of nations, or is Paul also explaining God's sovereign election of individuals unto salvation?
We dive into Jacob and Esau, unconditional election, God's mercy, and the biblical context that I believe Nate is overlooking.
