🦞 HAPPY NATIONAL LOBSTER DAY! 🦞

September 25 is National Lobster Day, celebrating one of the most iconic — and once surprisingly humble — foods to come out of the sea!

Lobster wasn’t always considered a luxury. Once so plentiful along the Northeast coast that it was considered everyday food, lobster eventually made an incredible transformation into the prized delicacy we know today. Now whether it’s a classic Maine lobster roll, a whole steamed lobster dripping in butter, lobster bisque, or a creative lobster dish, today is a pretty good excuse to indulge!

🦞 A few fun lobster facts:

Maine lobster and spiny lobster are quite different. Maine lobsters have those big, meaty claws, while the warm-water spiny lobsters found around Florida and the Caribbean don’t have large claws and are known for their long, spiny antennae.

And lobster anatomy gets even stranger — lobsters can taste with their legs, regenerate lost limbs, and continue growing throughout their lives!

Lobster is also deeply connected to New England’s fishing culture, with generations of lobstermen helping turn it into one of the region’s signature foods.

🏈🌭🍔 NFL STADIUM FOOD IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL — AND I’M HERE FOR IT! 😂

Football season is back, and apparently a regular old hot dog, pretzel and order of nachos just aren’t going to cut it anymore!

NFL stadiums around the country are unveiling some absolutely ridiculous new food creations this season. We’re talking two-foot-long hot dogs, monster quesadillas, cheese-stuffed burgers, crab-filled pretzels and even a hot dog topped with spaghetti and meatballs!

Here are 13 of the most outrageous new NFL stadium foods making headlines this season:

🏈 Indianapolis Colts — Lucas Oil Stadium
Fans in the suites can try the new Crab Cake Sliders. They feature Northeastern-style crab cakes topped with citrus ranch remoulade and locally sourced bacon relish, all served on brioche buns. Not exactly your typical stadium slider!

🔥 Kansas City Chiefs — Arrowhead Stadium
The Lava Burger sounds like something you might need two hands and several napkins to tackle! It starts with a cheese-stuffed burger patty and adds thick-cut bacon, roasted tomato, chives and jalapeño popper spread, all served on a sourdough boule.

🦅 Philadelphia Eagles — Lincoln Financial Field
Of course Philly had to work the famous “Tush Push” into the menu! 😂 The Tush Push Tater is a deep-fried russet potato topped with fried chicken cutlet, pimento mac and cheese, bacon hot honey jam, 215 sauce and scallions. That might be an entire day's worth of food on one potato!

🐎 Denver Broncos — Empower Field at Mile High
Denver may have one of the craziest creations on the entire list. The Beast in a Blanket is a TWO-FOOT dog loaded with brisket burnt ends, cheddar and goat cheese before being wrapped in puff pastry. Then they add avocado cream, crispy onions, jalapeños and secret sauce. The price? $45! 😲

🤠 Houston Texans — Reliant Stadium
The Battle Red Berry Bird definitely wins points for originality. Fried chicken is tossed in strawberry Buffalo sauce and topped with coleslaw, pickles and Cajun cheese curds. It's served on a challah bun alongside Tater Kegs and chipotle aioli. Strawberry Buffalo sauce? I think I'd have to try that at least once!

🐅 Cincinnati Bengals — Paycor Stadium
Bring your appetite for the Who Dey Sausage. This monster is a 24-inch BBQ cheddar pork sausage piled with pickled red onions, fresh jalapeño and sweet BBQ sauce. Definitely not something you're casually eating between plays!

🐶 Cleveland Browns — Huntington Bank Field
Can't decide what kind of hot dog you want? Cleveland has you covered with a Hot Dog Flight featuring three completely different mini dogs.

There's a Buffalo Blitz Dog topped with Buffalo chicken dip, celery, blue cheese and Buffalo sauce; an Italian Stallion covered with spaghetti, chopped meatballs, marinara, Parmesan and basil; and a Brisket Dog loaded with smoked brisket, fried onions, pickles, bourbon BBQ sauce and Gouda.

Yes...they actually put spaghetti and meatballs on a hot dog! 😂🌭🍝

🖤💛 Pittsburgh Steelers — Acrisure Stadium
Pittsburgh is keeping things team-themed with the Black N' Gold Chicken and Waffle. House-made black-and-gold waffles are topped with fried chicken, coleslaw, bacon jam, sweet potato fries and Mike's Hot Honey. That's breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one!

🏈 Washington Commanders — Northwest Stadium
Here's another one that immediately caught my attention: the Crab Stuffed Pretzel. It's a crab-shaped pretzel filled with lemon-tarragon crab dip, brushed with garlic butter and finished with grated Parmesan cheese. 🦀🥨 That sounds pretty darn good!

🐻 Chicago Bears — Soldier Field
Chicago's entry is the cleverly named Bear-ia Burrito. It's stuffed with shredded beef birria, Chihuahua cheese, cilantro and onion and served with house-made consommé for dipping.

🦁 Detroit Lions — Ford Field
Detroit combines stadium nachos with one of its classic local flavors in the Corktown Corned Beef Nachos. Fresh kettle chips are piled with corned beef, white cheese sauce, Thousand Island dressing, coleslaw, tomato and chives. It's almost like a Reuben sandwich collided with a plate of nachos!

🐆 Carolina Panthers — Bank of America Stadium
How about a TWO-FOOT QUESADILLA? 😲

The appropriately named Big 'Dilla is a monster smoked adobo chicken quesadilla packed with cheddar and Jack cheeses and pico de gallo, then topped with cilantro and chipotle crema. I'm thinking this one is probably meant for sharing...although I'm sure somebody will accept the challenge! 😂

⚔️ Minnesota Vikings — U.S. Bank Stadium
Finally, Minnesota brings us The Raid Burger. This monster features a double bacon cheeseburger topped with Buffalo cheese curds, an onion ring and ranch, all piled onto a brioche bun.

🍔🌭🥨 One thing is certain — stadium food isn't what it used to be!

Going to an NFL game these days isn't just about football. The food itself has become part of the entertainment, with stadiums competing to see who can come up with the biggest, craziest and most over-the-top creation.

Today, September 13, is a day chocolate lovers can really sink their teeth into! Whether you’re a milk chocolate fan, prefer the richness of dark chocolate, or believe peanut butter and chocolate may be mankind’s greatest achievement, today is your excuse to indulge! 😋

Chocolate has quite a history. Its roots stretch back thousands of years to ancient Mesoamerica, where cacao was used by civilizations including the Maya and Aztecs. Today, chocolate is loved around the world, with millions of tons consumed globally each year!

So how should you celebrate? Grab an old favorite, try a chocolate brand you’ve never had before, visit a local chocolatier, or surprise somebody with a box of chocolates. After all, you don’t need Valentine’s Day to do something sweet for someone! ❤️🍫

And now for the important question…

Today, September 7th, we raise a glass to one of the oldest—and still one of the most popular—beverages in the world. Whether you're a crisp lager person, a hoppy IPA fanatic, prefer a smooth ale, or like something dark and rich, today is your day! 🍻

And beer lovers certainly have plenty to choose from. The United States has thousands of breweries, from neighborhood microbreweries and brewpubs to larger regional operations. One of my favorite things about the craft beer explosion is that almost everywhere you travel, there's a local beer waiting to be discovered.

So how should you celebrate National Beer Lovers Day? Grab a beer with some friends, visit a favorite local watering hole, or—better yet—check out a local brewery you've never tried before. Order a flight, sample a few different styles, and maybe discover a new favorite. 🍺🍺🍺
