Mahindra Scorpio gets a PICKUP avatar!

Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler, taking the iconic Scorpio formula in a completely new direction.

From its rugged stance and lifestyle-focused design to the practicality of a pickup bed, this is Mahindra's attempt to take the Scorpio badge beyond the traditional SUV space.

Here are some key technical details :

- Platform: Scorpio N-based ladder-frame architecture
- Body Style: Double-cab lifestyle pickup
- Engine: 2.2-litre diesel engine
- Gearbox: 6-speed manual / 6-speed automatic
- Drivetrain: 4WD with shift-on-the-fly capability
- Drive Modes: Normal, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Rut and Sand

The production-ready pickup is based on Mahindra's earlier Global Pik Up concept and is positioned as a rival to the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross. Mahindra has also announced an India launch timeline of by April 2027, with the entry price expected to be below ₹19.79 lakh.
