Honestly I think PlayStation is trying to speedrun how fast you can lose all credibility. If concord, closing Bluepoint, ending physical disc production, removing movies from your library, completely ignoring your fan base, and then replying with a BS state of play double bill, they’ve now tried to soften the blow of them supposedly trying to cancel Kojima Productions Physint action game. As Hideo Kojima put it, “unexpectedly”. Luckily Kojima Productions is now working with Xbox, so the game is not cancelled. But this is crazy news, Hideo Kojima is a beloved video game director. Not everyone may be a fan of his games, but he’s earned his dues as a critically acclaimed director, and has a long history with PlayStation. Metal Gear Solid, Zone of the Enders, Death Stranding, all these games launched on PlayStation first and now his next two games, OD and Physint will be launching first on Xbox. Times are definitely changing. What do you think?

Well… Nintendo’s two Directs this week just massacred the back to back Sony State of Play’s we got. The very minuscule interest I still had left in the PlayStation has been disintegrated by Nintendo’s lineup. It’s depressing how little first party content there is to look forward to on PlayStation compared to across the pond. Nintendo revealed three unbelievably epic looking games continuing their beloved and prestigious franchises, Metroid, Kirby and The Legend of Zelda. Are you interested in picking any of these up when they launch? I personally am really looking forward to Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave coming this month!
