JT Curtis is best known for playing the George Harrison role in the Broadway run of Let it Be. He has also performed as David Gilmour, Lindsey Buckingham and Eric Clapton in various shows. Original music remains his passion, notably projects like Elements and singles like Home (Last Stand), Never let the Bastards Grind you Down, and You and Only You. Check them out on this channel.
In 2014, JTC began a series called History of Rock & Roll, covering the history of the genera decade by decade. Spinoff videos include his Playlist videos (covering the best songs from a specific band or artist) his album reviews for George Harrison and Pink Floyd, and several others.

If there is a silver lining to the recent AI agent swam attack on HuggingFace, it’s that both the public and some AI tech CEOs are waking up to the dangers of unregulated AI development. It seems to be one issue both sides of the aisle are coming together over. Until the tech industry takes this seriously, I will continue to speak out against it, through my music too when possible. For the sake of the environment and our own survival, do not create the demand for it. Stop using ChatGPT, stop making AI generated music or images and stop sharing AI slop. Whether AI eventually becomes Skynet from Terminator or Data from Star Trek is up to us right now.

Hi everyone - My apologies for this but due to an unforseen stressful month and some recently health issues, I need to put Summer of Prog on hiatus indefinitely. I know a lot of you have been looking forward to this, even donated new albums, and I promise I will get to them at some point, maybe Autumn or Winter of Prog, but right now I need to focus on myself and my physical and mental health.
I appreciate you all.

Jesus! Now Tim Curry too? Also 80? End times man…
Well again what fan be said? Tim Curry probably better known as one of the most entertaining actors ever - I grew up hearing his voice in so many cartoons - and of course his performance in the Rocky Horror Picture Show is iconic. However his stint as a glam rock artist may be lesser remembered. Believe it or not, my mother @beckycurtis73 opened for him at a show! He had a horrible stroke years ago but even afterwards he continued to speak, tell stories, and be his entertaining self.

When people have asked me if I like country music, I say I like the old classics from legends like Dolly Parton. There is no denying her brilliance as a writer, a performer, and a human being who knocked down many doors for female performers and did so much good for the community. I love that after was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame (which I hate) she felt compelled to make her first full rock album (though I would argue with some of her classic material leaned into the genre as well). Therefore she deserves her place in the History of Rock.
