Last week was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget. I’m beyond grateful to have supported my best friend ‪@insaneintherainmusic‬ on one of the biggest weeks of his life (so far), playing drums with his band, performing at PokémonXP! Playing a whole set of Pokémon Legends: Z-A music that he worked on was so much fun, and every crowd on Rayquaza Road just got bigger and better as each day went. I’m truly proud of how far Carlos has come with his career up to this point, as this is something I know he’s been wanting to do for a very long time.

Best times with ‪@XnarkyVGM‬ ‪@NicoMendozaMusic‬ ‪@robkovacsmusic‬ Max Boiko ‪@toastymarshmellow_‬ , the whole crew was crushing and the hangs were immense as well!

I’m more Poké-Pilled than ever before after being at my first Worlds, and it was just as awesome to see so many friends, and make a bunch of new ones as the weekend progressed.

Can’t wait for what the future holds, and expect more clips from this weekend!

Sorry y’all, no new video for this week! I’ve had a crazy few weeks of gigs and work behind the scenes happening that’s taken up so much of my time.

It’s all good things, and things I’m able to talk about soon.

I’m currently at Pokémon Worlds performing with ‪@insaneintherainmusic‬ this weekend, and am beyond excited for these three shows!

Words can’t truly describe how special this tour was for me. I’m beyond grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful experience with some of the best people on the planet. Performing 10 shows of #persona5 music for thousands of fans all across Asia, it was some of the most passionate performances I couldn’t even have imagined to be a part of.

It was a pure blast spending these last three weeks with some amazing people, and a bunch of new friends! Big shouts to the homies from the US for the epic hangs, and also to everyone from Japan, it was such a pleasure getting to know you all!

It was an honor to perform alongside legends @miyashiro.eric @masato__honda , as well as the voice of P5 herself @lyn_inaizumi !!! Also to meet the composer Shoji Meguro (he came to Yokohama just after the @gamemusicfestival ‘s performance of Persona Grooves)🤯

I can’t thank @crosenmusic enough for trusting me with the drum chair for this epic show, especially from playing this music so much with others in the VGM scene over the years. P5 music truly hits hard, and it just so much fun to play.

I also want to recognize everyone behind the scenes to make this tour happen, @aya_m_k @54entco @_cornuta and more! Thank you for all you’ve done!

I also had some free time to catch up with some dear friends @insaneintherainmusic @patbartmusic , attend a couple VGM jam sessions in Japan, hosted by @game_yk_hml_310 , and really get a taste of was Japan was all about.

This was one hell of a month, and a bunch of FIRSTS for me! Seeing so much of the world in this span of time was truly an experience I’ll never forget. I’m certain this won’t be the last time I’m back in Asia for more hangs, more performing/tours, and more adventures.

Thanks all for the love and support. It’s time for me to kick jet lag’s butt and get back to making music!

With the start of a new week, I finally have some very exciting news to share!

I got asked to play Drums for the upcoming Persona 5 Big Band Asia Tour in June of this year, and I’m beyond thrilled for this incredible opportunity!!! Can’t thank Charlie Rosen enough for the call!

The Tour is 10 Shows, 3 weeks long, and is going to be starting in Bangkok, then performing in Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Tokyo!

It starts June 16th, and goes till July 3rd, and it will be a show not to miss.

If there’s any of y’all in Asia in June-July, please come to one/some of these shows!
