I once had a manager who never gave me feedback. Not even once in 2 years.

I was actually just invisible, and I learned more from that silence than from any review cycle since. It taught me that attention is a form of respect, and withholding it is a decision.

Nobody puts that in a leadership curriculum.

Celebrities, influencers and luxury brands are built to make products feel aspirational and when you see the same Gucci bag, shoes or outfit on someone you admire, your brain starts associating the product with their lifestyle, success and status.

Before buying that “must-have” celebrity outfit, ask yourself:

→ Would I want this if I hadn’t seen them wearing it?
→ Do I actually like the piece, or do I like the person wearing it?
→ Would I still buy it if the logo wasn’t visible?
→ Can I style what I already own instead?

You don’t have to stop enjoying fashion or celebrities. You just need to stop letting their purchases become your shopping list.

Celebrity influence is real. Your buying decisions don’t have to be.
