DJMoonHead
DJMoonHead creates cinematic music from the Cosmic Underground: soundtracks for the personal and collective human experience.
Grief. Desire. Power. Identity. Culture. Rebellion. Rebirth. Transformation. The stories we inherit, the experiences we have, and the systems we live inside.
Music for going beneath the surface, questioning what we’ve been handed, and giving sound to what refuses to stay buried.
Created and directed by Maegan Kenney who develops the creative concept, story line, emotional resonance, lyrics, and musical arc. AI is used as a creative production tool to help bring that vision into sound.

For the women who were told to be smaller.
Quieter.
Easier.
Less.
This is what happens when they remember who they are.

BROKEN OPEN arrives October 9.
An album about grief, anger, love, surrender, and what remains after life breaks you open.
For the losses we carry.
For the parts of us that survive.
For the love that doesn’t disappear when someone does.
