We are all very proud to be putting out this record, and as our 5th album it feels like a big milestone for swim deep, and I hope it’s as inspiring for you as it is for us that we are even on album 5!
I was asked in an interview what keeps the band going after so many years against all the odds and hardships of the industry - and for me it’s friendship,, especially when faced with the ole struggles. And that’s what this album sounds like to me. We wanted to put everything into it and with our mentor/hero/talisman Bill Ryder Jones at the wheel, recorded at our second home ICP Studios I think we did that. To make records is an absolute honour and this one is for us.

This album was made again with Bill Ryder Jones at the helm as a continuation of ‘Big Star’. Whilst being stood at the conduit of birth and departure, I wanted to write something more extroverted and expressive. We wanted to turn the struggle into momentum and make it fuzzy and warm. We are artists making music against all the odds, and we hope to mirror our brotherhood and story with our heaviest, most adventurous, and uplifting album yet. We continue to chase the dream, but now with something deeper at stake.
