Trump is imposing tariffs on Canada for, among other things;

- refusing to give the US the authority to decide what country Canada gets to trade with, as if we're not a sovereign nation

- refusing to to give the US first right of purchase on certain goods with prices set by the US, as if we're not allowed to sell to the highest bidder

- refusing to abolish protection laws for the french language, cause Quebec having those is a problem to Trump for some reason???

Trump tried to sneak these demands last minute into the latest negotiations, and when we obviously said no, he cancelled all negotiations, declared tariffs, and also that Lake Ontario is now Lake America, something so profoundly stupid everyone at work thought it was an AI bit until mainstraim news talked about it.

I cannot overstate this, no nation on earth can even entertain any remotely stupid demand from Trump. He needs to be put in his place, to be told shut up and piss off. No appeasement, no concessions, just a brick wall.

The Iranian regime, for all its many flaws, declared recently they wouldnt re-enter peace talks until Trump is out of office and someone else replaced him, and they might just be ahead of the curve on that one.

Hey everyone, I know I haven't been making much content on this channel lately, but I've just been busy with other things, namely my main channel.

I have one last big project planned for this year, another experiment that may hit or miss, and I'm hoping to get started on it soon.

In the meantime, I've had a few spontaneous livestreams here and there and have enjoyed doing them, but I'm not actively looking for stuff to react to or comment on. If you have suggestions for me, things you'd like me to opine on, just let me know :)

Duke It Out

So I haven't paid much attention to The Odyssey at all, but yesterday I watched all the trailers and this really feels like one of those movies that you have to see in theater to really immerse yourself in the cinematography. So imma go see it this weekend, I'm pretty hyped.

On a side-note, this movie really is the fakest outrage coming from the chuds this year. If you've seen those two still images circulating, I realized for the first time last night that together they barely make up 1 second in the last of several movie trailers.

It's unironically the only and most extensive sample we have of Lupita Nyong'o and Elliot Page in the movie, and the chuds have been spreading those images online as if they're any actual indicators of the movie itself or the actors' roles in it, even though again, it's barely a ONE SECOND glimpse in total. What a bunch of sad losers.

We'll see how the movie is but I feel like once you've accepted there's nothing historical about it, it might actually be pretty awesome, at least based on the reviews so far.
