Sometimes that means comparing notebook sizes, inserts or accessories. Sometimes it means asking why we keep setting up new systems, saving beautiful notebooks for later, or collecting notes we never use.

I was flipping through a notebook earlier and paused at a page I’d completely forgotten about — uneven paper, quick handwriting, a moment I didn’t realise I’d saved.
It made me think about why so many of us turn to a notebook in the first place. Not to document everything, but to find a bit of clarity in the middle of things.
