It would have taken extreme optimism to believe this “half-dead” man could be saved. The priest and the Levite saw a corpse, but the Samaritan saw a neighbor and was “moved with compassion at the sight” (Luke 10:30, 33).
What an excellent illustration of the way Jesus looks at us! Immediately he took out his finest Megalixir!

Why did Jesus say looking back makes you unfit for the Kingdom of God? Jesus uses a powerful agricultural metaphor: once you put your hand to the plow, you cannot look back.
What is your "plow," and what distractions are calling you to look over your shoulder?
Are you truly committed to the path, or are you still looking back at what you left behind? IE GOATS 🐐 BUSINESS
