Still waiting for my copy of the Rubber Soul Box set to arrive. In the meantime I thought I would share a fun image of Betty and Veronica dreaming about the Fab Four.....Veronica's dad doesn't share their point of view though LOL.

From 1965 it's issue # 166 of Laugh Comics.....I think the Beatles caricatures are actually pretty well done.

Once I get the box, I am going to shoot and post an unboxing video. My review of the remix set will follow either Saturday or Sunday.

Be well everyone

**Tomorrow, we have something completely different.** 😉

No music. No records. No Beatles.

Instead, I'm taking a look at something that many of us may remember from our childhood — and revisiting it with a rather different perspective than I had when I first saw it.

If you grew up watching cartoons, there's a good chance this one will ring a bell.

And after all these years, I have to ask:

**THE GREATEST CARTOON EVER?**

Coming Sunday 08/23/26 🐸

Glen Hansard: Oscar-winning Irish singer-songwriter and frontman of The Frames: passed away yesterday on July 29, 2026 - Cause of death was a motorcycle accident. He was 56 years old.

He is probably best remembered for his role in the 2007 Academy Award winning movie indie musical drama: "Once". A film that drew heavily on his early experiences as a busking musician.

He and his co star Markéta Irglová, wrote the song "Falling Slowly", which won the 2008 Oscar for best original song.

He and Irglova' where part of the Indie folk duo: "The Swell Season"

He also won a Grammy nomination in 2016 for his second solo record: "Didn't He Ramble".

He collaborated with Eddie Vedder writing songs for the 2021 movie "Flag Day".

He is survived by his wife, Maire Saaritsa; a son, Christy; and three brothers.

Happy 84th Birthday to Paul McCartney! 🎉

When Paul celebrated his 80th birthday, I decided to do something a little different: I wrote and performed an original birthday song for him, trying to capture some of the spirit, melody, and optimism that have always made his songwriting so special.

I'm sharing it again today in celebration of an incredible musical legacy.

This Sunday’s video is a little different.
It started as a discussion about “For No One” by The Beatles…
…but it slowly became something much more personal.
Sometimes a song can suddenly stop feeling like “just a song” — and start feeling like it understands something you actually lived through.
This may be one of the most personal videos I’ve made on the channel.
Coming Sunday.

Last year, while visiting 3 Savile Row in London, we made a video asking:

“Why isn’t this The Beatles’ version of Graceland?”

Today Apple officially announced that the building will reopen in 2027 as “The Beatles at 3 Savile Row” — the first official Beatles fan experience.

So apparently we weren’t the only ones thinking it. 😂

…So I am finally going to talk about this band.
First question—does this actually sound good to you… or just weird?
Can’t wait to hear your reaction.
