Ever wondered why heating engineers groan the second they see a Worcester tucked into an impossible cupboard? Today’s job was the ultimate test of patience.

Between wrestling stubborn baffles, dealing with a rock-solid blocked condensate trap, and contorting myself into a pretzel just to swap out a PRV... it threw pretty much everything at me. Oh, and just when I thought it was time to pack away, a blocked plate heat exchanger decided otherwise!

We also kicked off with a 40-minute timed repair on a Vaillant F75 fault to show why having the right van stock is a lifesaver.

Nothing tests your patience quite like a "straightforward" Friday afternoon job turning into a proper headache! 🤦🏽‍♂️

Fitted a brand new actoSTOR charging pump on a Vaillant ecoTEC plus 938, fired it back up expecting instant results, and... F.81 / F.91 error codes straight on screen. Overheating, zero hot water, and a boiler that thinks the new pump isn't doing its job.

Would you have suspected a faulty diverter valve, a dodgy PCB, or something much simpler?
