So it seems the game is actually turning itself into a randomizer asym which is a pretty cool idea, so far there’s going to be 4 game modes which are: -Regular Timeless -DoD Dienation -Elimination (which is apparently a survivor vs survivor mode?) -Murder Mystery
Okay, so… I’m in a dilemma. With the confirmed change of Timeless from an asym into a randomizer, I’m considering scrapping the second video about it that I’m working on.
The reason I’m considering this is because I don’t want to mislead future viewers into believing that Timeless is still an asym when the changes come out.
So, we now know what Timeless is going to change into: a randomizer.
Personally, I love randomizer games, but I don’t really know how you’d turn the original Timeless into a randomizer. Is the game going to have team mechanics, with Emissaries and Entities going up against each other in a 5v5 format? Or will you get a random character every time you respawn?
I don’t know. It’s really confusing to me, but hey, at least the devs are going to escaped the hellhole that is the asym community and I’m happy for them.
The Timeless developers are reconsidering rebranding Timeless into a different genre. Now, this is not confirmation that the game will actually change genres, but personally, I really don’t like this at all.
The game is an absolutely fantastic twist on the asym genre, and seeing it being considered for a genre change really sucks, especially after it’s already been released.
Again, EVERYTHING SAID HERE IS NOT CONFIRMED. I just hope that, if they do decide to go through with this, they make it a separate game mode or server and keep the original Timeless as the main game.
