10 things I love about you because apparently I have to explain why I love you 😭🫵🏻

Okay so first of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMINNN 😭💗
You already know I’m terrible at making edits and doing all those fancy birthday things, so instead of making you 10 edits like you did for me, I decided to use the one thing I can actually do — yap. 💀

And yes, I KNOW you made like 10 edits for my birthday. TEN. And what did I do? Sit there and think, “I should probably make something for her birthday.” Then continued doing absolutely nothing. 😭 I’m sorry, my laziness won this round. But trust me, this is coming from my heart, even if my editing skills clearly decided to take a vacation.

So here are 10 things I love about you:

1. Your sweetness. 🥹
You’re genuinely such a sweet person. You have this soft and caring side that makes people feel comfortable around you. You don’t even have to try too hard to be nice, it just naturally comes from you. Meanwhile I’m here causing problems, making jokes, and somehow you’re still putting up with me 😭. I really love how kind you are, especially because it never feels fake or forced. You’re just… you. And honestly, that’s one of the things that makes you so special to me.

2. The way you care about people. 🫶🏻
You’re the type of person who actually notices things. You care about how people are feeling, you remember little things, and you try to make people feel better. I might not always say it, but I notice those things too. You have such a warm personality, and I genuinely appreciate having someone like you in my life.

3. Your patience with me 😭.
Because girl… you NEED patience to be friends with me. 💀 I can be annoying, random, loud, unserious, and completely impossible sometimes. I’ll probably say something stupid at the worst possible moment and then laugh about it for the next 20 minutes. And somehow you still stay. I honestly don't know how you survive me, but thank you for not giving up 😭.

4. Your cute little sweet personality. 💗
You’re literally the sweet one and I’m the one who probably ruins the peaceful atmosphere in 0.2 seconds. 😭 There’s something really nice about having a friend who balances you out. You have that softer energy while I bring the chaos, and somehow it works. We’re basically two completely different types of people who somehow became friends and decided this was a good idea. 💀

5. Our conversations. 😭
I love how we can talk about completely normal things and then somehow end up talking about the most random nonsense ever. There doesn’t always have to be some deep reason for us to talk. Sometimes we’re just existing, saying random things, laughing, complaining, or making jokes that probably wouldn’t make sense to anyone else. And honestly, those random conversations are some of my favourite parts of our friendship.

6. The memories we’ve made. 🫂
Even the small moments matter to me. The random conversations, the stupid jokes, the times we laughed over something that probably wasn’t even that funny, everything. I feel like friendships are made from all these tiny moments that you don’t realise are important until you look back at them. And I’m really glad I have those memories with you.

7. The way you support me. 🥹
You’ve been there for me in ways that I really appreciate. Whether it’s something serious or something completely stupid, having someone who listens and cares means a lot. Sometimes you don’t even realise how much your little actions can mean to someone. But I notice them, and I’m really grateful for them.

8. You being YOU. 🫶🏻
I love that you don’t have to become someone else just to be liked. You have your own personality, your own way of doing things, and your own little quirks, and those are the things that make you you. I wouldn’t want some different version of you. I like the Emin I know — the sweet one, the caring one, the one who somehow decided making TEN edits for me was a reasonable birthday activity 😭💀.

9. THE FACT THAT YOU MADE TEN EDITS FOR ME. 😭😭
I genuinely still cannot get over this. Like girl, you made 10 EDITS for me. TEN. Meanwhile I’m writing this because I looked at my editing app and immediately thought, “Yeah… words are enough.” 💀

I’m genuinely sorry I didn’t make edits for you 😭. It’s not because you’re any less important to me. It’s literally because my laziness is stronger than my willpower. 🧍🏻‍♀️ I had the thought of making edits, then the thought disappeared, then I remembered your birthday was coming, then I panicked, and now here we are. 💀

But seriously, the fact that you put that much time and effort into doing something for me means a LOT. I might joke about it because I’m incapable of being serious for more than five minutes, but I really do appreciate it.

10. And probably the biggest one — how unexpected our friendship was. 🥹🫶🏻

Honestly, if someone had told me that a random message I sent because I didn’t really have enough friends would turn into a friendship this important to me, I probably wouldn’t have believed them.

I literally just messaged you one day because I wanted more people to talk to. I didn’t think that one random message would actually lead to me finding someone I would become this close to.

I didn’t plan for us to become friends. I wasn’t expecting anything huge from that conversation. It was literally just a message.

And somehow… that random message became us. 😭

I think that’s what makes our friendship so special to me. It wasn’t something I expected or planned. It just happened naturally. One random message turned into conversations, those conversations turned into memories, and somehow you became someone I genuinely care about.

It’s honestly crazy to think that if I had never sent that message, I might have never known you the way I do now.

So I’m really glad I sent it.

Because out of all the random things I could’ve done that day, somehow that one little message gave me a friendship I never expected to have.

And now I’m sitting here writing a whole birthday paragraph for the same person I randomly messaged because I needed more friends. 😭💀 Life really has jokes.

I’m genuinely so grateful that you came into my life, Emin. You’re such a sweet, caring person, and I hope you know how much I appreciate you.

There are obviously way more than 10 things I love about you, but if I actually wrote everything, this would become a whole novel and you’d probably stop reading halfway through 😭.

Thank you for being there, for listening to me, for making me laugh, for caring about me, and for being the sweet person you are.

And even though I’m usually the one making everything into a joke, I really mean it when I say I’m glad you’re my friend.
