For Chaitra Navratri 2026, the best time for Kalash Sthapana (Ghatasthapana) in the house is on March 19, 2026, from 6:52 AM to 7:43 AM. Alternatively, it can be done during the Abhijeet Muhurat from 12:05 PM to 12:53 PM.
The setup should be placed in the northeast corner of the home, preferably during the early morning.
Kalash Sthapana at Home:
Date: March 19, 2026
Primary Morning Muhurat: 06:52 AM to 07:43 AM (Duration: 51 minutes)
Abhijeet Muhurat: 12:05 PM to 12:53 PM
Preferred Setup: Place the Kalash in the north-east corner (Ishaan Kona).
Required Items: A clay pot (matka), Ganges water (or pure water), coins, turmeric lump, betel nut, mango leaves, and a coconut wrapped in a red cloth/chunari.
