Transforming Spaces into Captivating Stories.

Founder-led and award-winning, MIL Design creates deeply personal spaces for people who want something different.
A project rarely begins with a style.
It begins with listening — understanding how people live, work and gather and how they want a space to feel.

Led by husband-and-wife duo IDr Mak Mil Yung, Registered Interior Designer, Board of Architects Malaysia (RMIT Melbourne), and Edward Lye (Murdoch University), our work draws from architecture, art, culture, materials and specialist craftsmanship. No two projects — and no two clients — are ever the same.

Our work includes bespoke residences for Hollywood actor Henry Golding and Tan Sri Zeti, former Bank Governor, alongside hospitality, developer, education and community projects.

Our clients include Gamuda, Sunway, Tropicana, Avaland and Khazanah among others
