The Last of Us Season 2 Update + Channel announcements
Hey everyone. We made the difficult decision to stop recording our reactions to Season 2 of The Last of Us. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, we have been running behind on posting our reactions to keep up with the show’s weekly episode releases. In short, life pretty much got in the way for a little while and made it difficult for us to keep up with recording and editing for this show. So we would like to apologize to everyone that was looking forward to our reactions on this show. Please know that we still are very much enjoying this show though and are continuing to watch it!
That being said, we are still going to keep doing reactions on our channel (we’re very excited for Dan da Dan Season 2), but we are also going to experiment with other types of videos as well! We are currently working on adding more gaming content to our channel, plus other types of videos as well! So please be on the look out for these videos and let us know if you have any suggestions for videos you may want to see! Thank you for being here and we’ll see you soon!
This past weekend we decided to revamp our recording setup. We’ve been meaning to for a while now and finally got around to it, but unfortunately for us we ran into some slight complications in the process. Some simple, easy fixes thankfully, but because we’ve been trying to get everything just right, we haven’t been able to record our reactions to episode 2.
We’re looking at an upload for it sometime early next week. We’re so sorry to keep everyone waiting!
We will still be uploading episode 3 next week, as well!
We’re trying something new! Tomorrow, we will be uploading our very first gaming video to the channel! We are very excited to add more content in addition to reaction videos to shows and movies, and we are simply experimenting to see how the gaming goes.
We're sad to announce that our recent JJK episode has been copyright claimed... and to avoid any further claims or potential damage to our channel, we've decided to take down the rest of season 2... ☹️ (yes, we're scared)
We will be reuploading a much more edited down version to YouTube, consisting of our pre and post discussions, with a link to the reaction segment on Patreon. No paywall, it's completely free of charge.
We know this is a little complex, but it's the best we can do. We're sorry, guys!
We are looking to add another series to our channel in addition to Demon Slayer. We are limited to choosing a show rather than movies due to time constraints. We all have day jobs as well as conflicting schedules, so picking a show with 20–30-minute episodes would be ideal for us. We decided we would each choose a show that we are interested in, and create a poll based on that. We'll be deciding the winner at 9:00am PST on Sunday 5/21. Thanks in advance for helping us make this decision!
As some of you might’ve noticed, we haven’t uploaded in quite some time. There’s no excuse really as to why, other than we were simply bored with our current situation and set up. For weeks we had been trying to figure out what we could do to spice up this channel, what we could do differently to gain some of that excitement back that we lost. Though it was a struggle to say the least, we think we might’ve figured something out…
We fully understand that up until this point we have been an anime exclusive reaction channel, BUT from here on out, we’re deciding to branch off and post more reactions to things; whether that be live action tv shows or movies, video games, in addition to anime all together. And this time, with more family and friends!
We can’t thank you all enough for the support you’ve shown us since we’ve started this channel. This change might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and we expect that there are maybe some goodbyes in order, but we really do hope you stay along for this new journey, because it’s going to be a fun one that we’re really excited for!
As far as updates go for our current content… We’re sorry to say that we’re discontinuing our series to Chainsaw Man. We are still really interested in reacting to Death Note and we WILL be resuming uploads as soon as we get back into the swing of things. And with the introduction of two new faces on our channel, we will be reacting to HBO’s The Last of Us!
Thank you so much for reading this far! We’re so excited to be back and posting again. We have definitely missed all of you guys soooo much!
