🥊 **The Real Reason Anthony Joshua Wants Fury in Cardiff**

Anthony Joshua reportedly turned down **millions more** to keep the Tyson Fury fight in Britain.

But why?

Perhaps some fights are bigger than money.

Joshua vs Fury is a rivalry that was **built in Britain**. Two British heavyweights, followed by British fans for years, finally settling the argument.

Lennox Lewis vs Frank Bruno belonged in Britain.
Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield belonged in America.

And perhaps **Joshua vs Fury belongs in Britain.**

New York is a huge opportunity. Bigger commercial market. Bigger global exposure.

But just because an opportunity is bigger doesn't necessarily mean it's the **right fit**.

Fury also has an enormous British following, so Cardiff isn't simply Joshua's home crowd — it could become a celebration of British boxing.

There is an interesting lesson here:

**Money is a tool. Greed makes it the master.**

Sometimes the biggest fight deserves the right stage, not simply the biggest cheque.

🥊 **Does Psychopathy Make You a Better Boxer?**

Psychopathy is associated with traits like **low empathy, fearlessness, emotional coldness and lack of remorse**.

On the surface, some of those traits sound useful in boxing. A fighter needs to control fear and hurt an opponent without hesitation.

But **great boxing is about understanding risk**. A fighter who is too fearless may take unnecessary punishment. Tough guys get hurt.

Empathy may also matter. Understanding your opponent can help you read reactions, recognise weakness and anticipate what comes next.

Perhaps the real advantage isn't having no emotion — it's being able to **control emotion without losing judgement**.

Boxing Philosophy

First, I want to say thank you to those who have left positive comments and appreciated my work. Some of the comments have been amazing, and they have pushed me to keep trying to give you the best content I can.

Last week, I created Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn: The Complete Story.

This wasn't a video I just switched the camera on and recorded.

I created a full timeline of the story. I spent hours researching and writing it. I recorded it. I collected the B-roll. The editing process was long and tedious. I worked on the SEO, added timestamps to improve discoverability, and spent time trying to create the best thumbnail possible.

By the time I uploaded it, I genuinely felt fatigued.

So when I woke up the next day and saw around 100 views and 2 likes, I was disappointed.

It made me ask a very simple question:

Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Because this isn't really about one video getting 100 views. It's about the relationship between the amount of work I'm putting in and what I'm getting back from that investment.

I've tried to do my part in building a digital boxing community.

At one point, I was releasing two long-form videos a day. That's a serious commitment.

I've created two completely free resources: a free chapter from my upcoming book and an 18-page free book on Moses Itauma vs Hrgović. The latter received one download.

I've reached out to other boxing YouTubers because I wanted to create a wider boxing ecosystem where creators could collaborate rather than just exist independently.

I've also reached out to an editor because I'm trying to find a way of creating longer, higher-quality videos with better editing and B-roll.

I'm trying.

But I'm genuinely not sure how I want to move forward with the channel.

YouTube represents an opportunity. An opportunity to build a community, connect with like-minded boxing people, have interesting conversations and create some great content.

But not all opportunities are good opportunities.

At some point, I have to look at the time, energy and effort I'm investing and ask whether it's sustainable.

That's where I am right now.

I'm not making any dramatic announcement. I'm not saying I'm quitting.

I'm saying I need to think.

I've put a huge amount into Boxing Philosophy, and now I need to work out what the next version of it looks like — and whether the juice is still worth the squeeze.
