Cocktail 2 – Review by RJ Sarkar Raj
Doston, 2012 wali Cocktail yaad hai? Us film mein friendship thi, heartbreak tha, music tha… aur ek fresh nasha tha. Ab aayi hai Cocktail 2 — bottle zaroor mehengi lagti hai, lekin nasha utna strong nahi chadhta.
Film ek modern love triangle ke around ghoomti hai, jahan style, romance aur confusion teenon ka mix banaya gaya hai. Shahid Kapoor screen par charming lagte hain, unka romantic zone kaafi natural hai. Kriti Sanon yahan kaafi strong dikhti hain; unki presence scenes ko lift karti hai. Rashmika Mandanna bhi theek hain, lekin unke character ko writing mein woh depth nahi milti jo emotional connection bana sake.
Visually film kaafi rich hai. Locations, costumes, music — sab glossy hain. Lekin problem screenplay mein hai. Kai jagah emotions feel hone ke bajay melodrama ban jaate hain. Original Cocktail mein jo raw feeling thi, yahan woh thodi missing lagti hai.
Meri taraf se Cocktail 2 ek decent one-time watch hai, especially agar aapko stylish Bollywood romance, good music aur Shahid-Kriti ki chemistry pasand hai. Bas expectations control mein rakhiye.
Conclusion:
Cocktail 2 dil ko touch karti hai, lekin dil mein ghar nahi bana paati.
