I am 40 years old, and I have followed martial arts since I was a child. Since my teenage years, I’ve been attending fight events. Most events focus solely on the fight itself, and even then, some are not punctual—delays are common and certain events are quite disorganized. In Brazil, there isn’t a pre-fight setup as well-organized and standardized as the Lethwei events of the KSLA in Karen State. It is an impeccable organization, something rarely seen. I wish them great success and hope this event continues to be known and recognized worldwide.

The hand trap commonly used in Lethwei was seen in Joshua Van’s latest fight against Pantoja at UFC 331, where he emerged victorious.
