💭 Negative vs. Growth Mindset in Weight Loss
When it comes to lasting change, your mindset matters more than the meal plan or a fixed exercise regimen.

A negative mindset says:
❌ “I’ve failed again.”
❌ “I’ll never stick to it.”
❌ “I have no willpower.”

A growth mindset says:
✅ “What can I learn from this setback?”
✅ “Progress takes time.”
✅ “I can build healthier habits step by step.”

When you meet yourself with self-compassion, you’re more likely to stay consistent — not because you’re perfect, but because you stop giving up every time things get hard.

Remember: the goal isn’t perfection; it’s progress and patience. 💚

🎓 This weekend is a big one for many first-time students heading off to university, and I still remember that feeling myself!

Starting uni (or any big change) is a huge chapter in life, full of excitement but also uncertainty. Change isn’t easy — it brings a mix of emotions and thoughts, and sometimes even anxiety. That’s completely normal.

The key is learning how to be in the driver’s seat of change and not letting change drive your emotions.

✨ My new video, releasing tomorrow evening, is all about how to manage change and navigate those feelings with confidence.

Good luck to everyone starting university and to anyone on the path of change, whether it’s in health, life, or work.

You’ve got this 💪

Psychological support is absolutely essential for anyone on a weight loss journey with injections. Having worked in weight management clinics and obesity care, I’ve seen firsthand how addressing mindset, habits, and emotional wellbeing can make all the difference in achieving lasting results. It’s not just about the injections — it’s about supporting the whole person.

🎉 Celebrating 100 YouTube Subscribers! 🎉

It may be a small milestone in the grand scheme of things, but it feels like a big step forward.

Thank you to everyone who has watched, liked, subscribed, or shared words of encouragement. I started my channel 8 weeks ago to make health psychology more accessible and practical, and to see it resonating with others means a lot.

Creating video content has pushed me outside my comfort zone, but it’s also been a space for creativity, reflection, and connection. I look forward to continuing this journey and reaching even more people who can benefit from evidence-based information on health behaviour change.
