Life With The Singhs

🌸 I was so afraid of this when I was younger, in my twenties.🌸

I knew I was so far from God. I knew I wasn’t living right, and I knew that if I shut my eyes and didn’t wake up the next day, I knew exactly where I would be.

And that was a fear I carried because I knew I was living far away from God and wasn’t right with Jesus.

It was the fear of being separated from my Heavenly Father and knowing my final destination would be fire and brimstone, Hell itself!

But then there came a time when I totally surrendered my life over to God.

I had a dream where I was standing on a rock, and a bright light came from the corner. Then I heard these words:

“Choose this day whom you will serve, or you shall die.”

That was my turning point.

That was when I turned my life around and gave my life back to Jesus. 🙏🏽

And when I tell you that fear of going to sleep and not waking up went away, it went away.

Because now I know, that I know where I’m going.

I know I will be with my Heavenly Father. I know I will be in His arms. I know I will be in heaven with Him.

I no longer fear death.

I can go to sleep tonight peacefully knowing that no matter what happens in this life, good or bad, my eternity is already established with Him.

“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.”
Proverbs 3:24 NKJV ❤️

There is a sweet sleep that comes when you trust Him.

And that’s where the roots of faith come in.

Faith means that you trust God no matter the outcome in your life. You trust God even when you cannot see what is ahead of you.

The Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 NKJV

Because when you’re walking with God, you don’t always know the outcome of your life. You don’t always know what tomorrow is going to bring. You don’t always understand why God allows certain things to happen, and sometimes you cannot see what He is doing at all.

But even when you cannot see what He is doing, you know that all things work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to His purpose….Romans 8:28

So you learn to trust Him because you know that He is good.

You trust Him through the heartache. You trust Him through the pain. You trust Him when you’re standing on top of the hill, and you trust Him when you’re down in the valley.

Because He is the God of the hills AND the valleys. 🙌🏽1 Kings 20:28

And sometimes it’s down in that valley where God does some of His deepest work in us.

He is still God when everything is going right, and He is still God when everything around you seems to be going wrong. As Job said so well here…🙏🏽”Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.”
Job 13:15 NKJV

And even in those moments when you don’t understand why things are happening, deep down in your heart, you still know that the God you serve is GOOD.

He is the God who grew your faith stronger. The God who taught you how to trust Him with every ounce of your life.

That is faith. ❤️

So tonight, I can close my eyes and rest knowing I don’t have to fear eternity in darkness without my God.

I know exactly where I’ll be.

And there is a peace that comes with knowing where you will spend eternity.

Because Jesus said:

“I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”

Revelation 1:18 NKJV 🙌🏽

Death doesn’t get the final word.

Jesus does. ❤️ Do you know where you will spend eternity?

Life With The Singhs

🌸 This is what they DON’T tell you when you’re in your 40s and pregnant! 😂

This is gonna be a fun one, y’all! Your girl finally hit 34 weeks! Shout out to the 34 week mark! 🙌🏽 I might have to do a few more dancing videos because this is DEFINITELY a celebration!

But here are a few things nobody tells you about being pregnant in your 40s:

1. You are a OG. 😂

You come from the era of Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and all them folks, before you got saved, delivered, and set free in Jesus ! 😂 So at this age, you really don’t care what people have to say. Let’s just put it that way.

2. Going to the doctor hits different in your 40s.

Your doctor is looking at you and choosing their words carefully because they know you’re old school and you ain’t up for no nonsense. You’ve been around long enough to ask questions, speak up for yourself, and make sure they’re doing you right.

3. You don’t give a rat’s behind what anybody has to say. 💅

Because you’re still sitting there thinking, “My older behind can actually carry a whole baby!” 😂 At this age, you’re not worried about the naysayers, their opinions, their comments, or what somebody thinks you should or shouldn’t be doing. You’re too busy being amazed that your body said, “Girl, we still got it!” 😂

And if this ain’t your first baby, this DEFINITELY ain’t your first rodeo. You know the game. You know the routine. You know what to expect. You’re just here for the ride!

4. You may be tired, but you’re still here and doing well by the grace of God. 🙏🏽

And for that, you are THANKFUL. Thankful to be able to carry life in your 40s. Thankful for every week. Thankful for every milestone. And today, I am especially thankful that we made it to 34 weeks!

5. And then there’s the comment section. 😂

When you’re pregnant in your 40s, that comment section from the younger crowd can look like a whole war zone! But when you’re this OG, Petty Betty comes out, and you start blocking folks like you’re swatting flies. 😂 and leave some for engagement😗

BLOCK. BLOCK. BLOCK.

Because at 47, who has time to argue with strangers on the internet? Not me! 😂

6. And lastly, you take the Bible literally. 🙌🏽

You put on the full armor of God. Your faith becomes your shield, and the Word of God becomes your sword, just like the Bible says:

“Above all, taking the shield of faith… And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:16–17 NKJV

You ain’t letting anybody bother you in your old age. 😂 Because if God can make dry bones come alive, then surely He can breathe life into a womb and allow it to carry a baby.

“Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.” Ezekiel 37:5 NKJV

So I’m going to keep thanking God, keep walking by faith, and keep enjoying this journey because the Bible also says:

“Do all things without complaining and disputing.” Philippians 2:14 NKJV

34 weeks, y’all! 💕 We made it another week, and THAT is worth celebrating!

Life With The Singhs

🌸 Listen, I’m 47 years old, pregnant, and my belly hangs out. 😂

And let me tell y’all something: I live in the state of Arizona, where the temperature is either HOT or hot as hell. 😂 So this belly is going to hang out as long as it wants to. My little short shorts are going to be short, my belly is going to be chilling, and we are going to survive this Arizona heat together. 😂

So to the old elderly man who felt the need to comment about my belly hanging out… I’m sorry, sir. 😂 You’re just going to have to keep scrolling.

Because over here, we are 47, pregnant, not ashamed, and not bothered. 🌸😂

Now let’s jump into some encouragement for today, because apparently the internet trolls woke up ready to troll. But that’s okay too, because they don’t even realize they’re helping the engagement. 😂 I’m just saying!

Sometimes the very people who think they’re working against you don’t realize God can use what they’re doing to work FOR you.

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good…” Genesis 50:20 NKJV 🙏🏽

And that’s my encouragement for somebody today.

Whatever work God has begun in you, trust Him to complete it.

It doesn’t matter who opposes you.
It doesn’t matter who tries to discourage you.
It doesn’t matter who doesn’t understand your journey.
And it certainly doesn’t matter who thinks you shouldn’t be doing what God has called you to do.

For me, part of my purpose in sharing this journey is encouraging other women walking through motherhood. Older moms, younger moms, women who thought their season had passed, and women who simply need to be reminded that their story does not have to look like everybody else’s.

I hope something I share encourages you.
I hope it strengthens your faith.
I hope it makes you want to dig deeper into Christ.
And I hope it reminds you that your validation does not come from strangers on the internet.

Jesus Himself was opposed, criticized, and rejected. So why would we think everybody is going to understand or applaud us?

Keep your head up.
Keep smiling.
Keep walking in what God has called you to do.

And remember:

“But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” Psalm 3:3 NKJV 🙏🏽❤️

God is the lifter of your head.

What He says about you is what matters.

Your validation comes from Christ and Christ alone.

And as for the trolls? Well… thanks for the engagement. 😂🌸 #lifewiththesinghs #pregnancy #pregnancyover40 #pregnancyjourney

🌸 47 and pregnant…Roll intro… Not Ashamed and Not Bothered! ☺️

For those who saw my latest post about taking a shower outside because those stairs are taking a toll on my knees, I love all of y’all who got the joke! 😂

Because let me tell y’all something… your girl STILL has to walk up those stairs. 😭😂 At 33 weeks pregnant, taking that shower outside might be what I WANT to do, but I can’t exactly get fully butt crack naked outside in front of my neighbors🫣. They would all pass out and faint! 😂

So yes, sadly, I’m still walking up those stairs.

That’s just my humor. Some people get it, some people don’t, and that’s okay. Just giggle and laugh with me! I like to stir the pot every now and then. 😂

Y’all might see me drop a video doing the Baby Mama Dance next! At this point, I think my husband might stop watching my videos because he’s probably thinking, “What the heck is this girl up to now?” 😂

But let’s jump into some encouragement for today. 💗

I hope you find joy and laughter throughout your day. I hope you find something that makes you smile. I hope something brings back a beautiful memory and reminds you of the good things God has placed in your life.

The Bible says, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.” Proverbs 17:22 💕

Sometimes we need to laugh. Sometimes we need to smile. Sometimes we need to enjoy those little moments God gives us, because laughter really can be good medicine for the heart.

The Bible also tells us to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Philippians 4:8

And if you’re having a hard time finding something to smile about today, I hope this brings you a little peace. God is with us on the mountaintops, and He is with us in the valleys.

He promised, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

So find something to smile about today. Find something to laugh about. And remember, no matter what season you’re walking through, God is right there with you.

Have a wonderful day. 💕

Life With The Singhs

🌸 47 and pregnant, today I turned 33 weeks today! Let’s jump into my introduction: Not ashamed and Not bothered. 💕

I am super excited for baby Rayah to get here. I still got a little bit more to go, but y’all, I am definitely counting down the weeks. 😂 I’m at that point where I’m like, girl, can we speed this up just a little bit? But I know we can’t rush it. We want a healthy baby, we want her doing well, and we want her to come when she’s ready. But the struggle be real because this mama is so ready to finally hold her in my arms. 💗

But let’s jump into some encouragement for today, y’all.

“The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” Proverbs 12:26

And I want to say this. When you’re choosing those friends, surround yourself with people who are uplifting and encouraging. Have friends who are gonna pray with you through difficult times and who are gonna be right there with you through the mountaintops and through the valleys. Have friends who will listen to you, encourage you, but also love you enough to speak honestly into your life when you need to hear it.

The Bible also says in Proverbs 13:20, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”

Who we hang around with affects every area of our life. It affects our motivation. It affects our goals and the things that we want to reach in life.

Surround yourself with friends who inspire you to grow, who want to see you succeed, and who encourage you to keep going after the things God has placed on your heart. The people closest to you shouldn’t constantly pull you backward. They should encourage you to keep moving forward.

So when it comes to friendships, be wise about who you allow into your inner circle. Be mindful of who you sit down and talk to, who you share personal things with, and who you turn to when you need somebody to pray with you. Friendships are very, very important, and the people closest to you can have a real impact on your life.

And as we should choose our friends wisely, the Bible says here in 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.”

Choose friends that love Jesus as much as you do. 🙏🏽

That doesn’t mean that you can’t have people in your life that are not Christian. We’re supposed to minister to people. But when it comes to your closest friends, choose somebody who has a heart after God.

Because when you’re down, they’re gonna remind you who God is. When you’re struggling, they’re gonna pray for you. And when you need encouragement, they’re gonna put you right back on track.

And let me leave you with this last verse. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” ❤️

Choose friends that will always keep you on fire for Jesus. 🙏🏽❤️

Life With The Singhs

🌸 47 and pregnant, not ashamed, and not bothered.(UPDATE in comment section🔥🔥🔥)

Still 32 weeks pregnant today, and I’ll be 33 weeks pregnant on Monday. 💕 Today I’m taking Miss Rayah, who is still right here in this womb, to her doctor’s appointment. We’re doing a recheck on her heart to make sure all the fluid is disappearing. 🙏🏽💕

Other than that, let’s jump into some quick encouragement for today, because this world is busy out here!

“Fret not thyself because of evildoers.” Psalm 37:1

Stop worrying about what people are doing, what they’re saying, or what they may be trying to do behind the scenes. Put it in God’s hands.

The Bible says, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Romans 12:19

And really, who better to handle it than the Lord?

You don’t have to fight every battle. You don’t have to respond to everything. You don’t have to prove yourself to anybody. When you put it in God’s hands, leave it there.

Rest peacefully today knowing that God sees what you don’t see, He hears what you don’t hear, and He knows exactly how to fight your battles.

All right, love y’all. See y’all soon. 💕🌸

🌸 God’s Protection, Even When We Don’t See It…..
(Stay with me, ’cause it’s about to get good. But first, let me give you a baby update.) 💕

🌸I’m 47, pregnant, Not ashamed & Not bothered🌸

I officially turned 32 weeks pregnant on Monday. Baby girl Rayah is getting bigger and bigger. 💕 We got an appointment to knock out this week, and then comes the joy of being busy with appointments because y’all know my older age means high risk pregnancy. So the doctors just love seeing us. 😂

I am walking more and getting my body prepared for birth. I am a true believer that walking helps prepare your body for labor. 🙌🏽

I have birthed 8 kids. This is baby number 9 , and all eight were vaginal births with no C sections. I am believing and confessing that we will not have any complications with this delivery, that we will have another vaginal birth, and that it will not be a long labor with baby girl Rayah. 🙏🏽💕

Now don’t get me wrong, ain’t nobody trying to have no baby in the house, in the garage, in the car, or in the hospital parking lot. 😂 She gonna wait till we get to the hospital. I’m just saying! And no, we’re not doing a home birth. 😂

All right, now stay with me, because this is where the encouragement comes in. 🌸

The Bible says:

“For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:11 -12 🙏🏽

One thing I want to say is that often times God is protecting us and we don’t even know He’s protecting us. 🙏🏽

I’ll give y’all a quick story.

I moved here from the state of Kentucky to Arizona. I remember I had my kids, my dogs, and my cats with me, y’all. We were traveling, and I was also towing another vehicle.

We were passing through the state of Oklahoma, and I was getting tired. I wanted to pull over and find a motel so we could get some sleep.

I came to this motel. There were cars in the parking lot, but nobody was outside.

My son was like, “Mom, I ain’t got no good feeling about this motel.”

But I was tired, y’all.

I went inside, and another family member was paying for my motel at the time. The clerk at the front desk said, “I’m sorry, we don’t take over the phone payments.”

So I went back outside to leave the motel.

And I kid you not, y’all, when I came back outside, there was a good amount of people standing outside looking at my vehicle. 👀

They weren’t there when I pulled up.

Remember, I had my children with me, and I was towing another vehicle.

I looked around and was like, “Yeah, let’s get back in this vehicle and drive.”

We got back on the road. We ended up finding a huge travel gas station stop, pulled over, got some sleep until the sun came up, and then continued driving toward our destination in Arizona. Eventually, we stopped at a nice hotel.

But that situation has always reminded me of God’s protection when we don’t even realize He’s protecting us. 🙏🏽

The rejection I got that day from that clerk was God’s protection.

Nobody was outside that motel when I pulled up. But when I came back outside after being told no, there was a good handful of people outside watching my vehicle.

I was in the wrong location, and God had to move me along the way.

Oftentimes in life, we don’t realize what God is protecting us from.

We don’t know what He’s guarding us from.

We don’t know what rejection from places we weren’t supposed to walk into was protecting us from.

We don’t know what friendships God allowed to end because He was protecting us.

But let me tell you one thing. God keeps His Word. 🙌🏽

He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.

Another example found in the Bible here..

Look at Balaam and his donkey in Numbers 22. Balaam was headed down a path that angered God, so the angel of the Lord stood in his way. Balaam couldn’t see the angel, but his donkey could. Three times the donkey tried to stop, and Balaam became frustrated because he didn’t understand why. Then God opened his eyes, and Balaam saw the angel standing there with a sword. 🙏🏽 What Balaam thought was an obstacle was actually protection.🙌🏽

Sometimes we may not understand the no, the obstacles, the closed doors, or the push back!

But God sees what we don’t see. 🙏🏽 Trust that Jesus keeps those safe who belong to Him. 🙏🏽

Life With The Singhs

🌸47 and pregnant,Not Ashamed & Not Bothered🌸 and baby Rayah is up in here moving stronger and stronger every day! These last couple of months are going to be busy! 😂 But let’s jump into some encouragement today.

Guard the purpose that God has placed on your life. Guard your heart.

One thing I want to talk about today is not allowing people to pull you away from the calling that God has placed on your life.

Because let me tell you something: God has a calling on your life.

God has already anointed and equipped you to do the things He has called you to do.

People can try to copy what they see, but they cannot copy or mimic the anointing God has placed on your life. The anointing comes from God. It is God working through you, moving through you, equipping you, and empowering you to do what He has called you to do.

You can’t manufacture that. You can’t copy that.

But what people CAN try to do is get you off track.

Distractions can come through envy, strife, jealousy, rage bait, foolishness, spitefulness, and all kinds of opposition. And sometimes, when God is moving in your life, not everyone is going to understand it, celebrate it, or support it.

But that’s not where your focus should be.

You have to recognize the distraction and refuse to fall for it.

And understand this: not every distraction is going to look like a distraction.

Sometimes it will sound good. Sometimes it will sound meaningful. Sometimes it may even sound spiritual.

Someone may come to you saying, “God wants you to do this,” or trying to redirect you toward something that sounds right. But if it contradicts what God has already instructed you to do, you better know what God told YOU and stay with it.

Everything that sounds good isn’t necessarily God.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God…” 1 John 4:1 NKJV

Don’t allow someone else’s actions, words, or behavior to pull you away from what God has called you to do.

Satan’s goal is to distract you.

Let me give you a biblical example.

In 1 Kings 13:1–32, God sent a man of God from Judah to Bethel with a specific assignment and specific instructions. He was to deliver God’s word, not eat or drink there, and leave without returning the same way he came.

He delivered the word and began to leave.

But an older prophet came after him and claimed that an angel had spoken to him and told him to come back and eat and drink.

But the Bible says he was lying to him. 1 Kings 13:18

That was a distraction.

It sounded spiritual. It came from another prophet. It even came from someone claiming to have heard from God.

It sounded good, but it wasn’t God.

The man of God allowed that distraction to pull him away from what God had already instructed him to do.

And it cost him his life. It cost him the ministry that God had entrusted into his hands.

I want to remind you today: don’t get distracted.

Don’t allow people to pull you away from the things that God has called you to do, because it can completely take you off the purpose and the plan that God has for your life.
