Well hello there, friend! I'm Andy!
I'm a curious guy who loves exploring history, new places, discovering fascinating stories, meeting interesting people, trying new things, finding good food, and occasionally getting myself into questionable situations.
This channel actually started with my weight loss journey, and that's still very much going on! But as I'm slowly losing the "chonk", I'm discovering more and more of the world around me. And rather than waiting until I've lost all the weight to start enjoying life, I figured I'd just get out there and do what I can, little by little.
Sometimes we're exploring an old castle or a tiny town, sometimes I'm trying something completely new, and other times we're just having a chat about life, weight loss, and whatever else is going on.

Christmas?! It's still October! 🎄🍂
That was pretty much my reaction when I heard there was already a Christmas fair happening in Sweden.
So naturally, I went to investigate. Met some lovely people, ate probably more than I should have, and tried to figure out whether Christmas spirit can actually arrive this early. 😂

This one has been a LOT of work, but I’m genuinely really happy with how it came together.
We went inside Skokloster Castle and somehow ended up with a 17th-century time bomb, a portrait made out of fruit, one of the wildest armouries I’ve ever seen, and a bunch of stories I absolutely did not expect going in.
It’s a weird one. In a good way. 😅

New video is up!
I went to Avesta looking for a “city of giants” and somehow that description turned out to be a lot more literal than I expected.
Giant Dala horse, a massive old ironworks, a waterfall with no water… and one final giant I’d been waiting to meet all day.
This one ended up being one of those trips where every stop got a little weirder than the last.

I've got a small confession...
There won't be a long-form video tonight.
I've been teaching myself DaVinci Resolve over the past week, and while it's an incredible editor... it's also kicking my ass. 😅
Everything takes me about three times longer than it used to, and I'd rather take an extra day or two than rush something out that I'm not happy with.
The good news is that every hour I spend learning now should mean better videos for all of us going forward.
Thanks for sticking with me while I figure this out. I genuinely appreciate the patience. ❤️

Quick little life update 👋
I’ve been a bit quiet on Shorts the past few days.
Real life has been full-on with interview prep and interviews, so content had to take a temporary back seat while I focus on getting that sorted.
The good news: the weight loss is picking up again and the scale is finally moving in the right direction 📉
So no, I haven’t kidnapped by a protein bar company 🙃. Just juggling real life for a minute.
