For every path you may walk, perhaps the question is less about why you were sent this way and more about the gift and pleasure of becoming another authentic version of yourself. A version that simply wants the space and capacity to exist, without fear, without judgment and most importantly, without being judged by yourself 🛶
I always say one of my favourite quotes is: “You can only meet someone as far as you’ve met yourself.” This conversation embodied that in a way I didn’t quite expect. The thought that it was simply that, a conversation, is both bonkers and precisely why conversation and radio remains one of my favourite forms of currency.
Information has the power to change the trajectory of our lives. I don’t just think that is powerful. I think it is beautiful. The vessels we carry are meant to be perceived, interpreted and, sometimes, misunderstood. And that’s okay. There is something freeing about allowing people to meet you where they are, while you continue becoming who you are.
Love and gratitude to Tebogo Selebi for such an enriching conversation. The conversations get better and so do the guests!
