Smudging एक traditional horticultural practice है, जिसमें पेड़ के canopy के नीचे organic material को धीरे-धीरे smolder करके smoke generate किया जाता है। Historically, इसे खासकर mango trees में flowering को influence करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया है.

लेकिन ध्यान रखें ⚠️ — हर जगह इसका result एक जैसा नहीं मिलता। Indian conditions में इसके effects mixed रहे हैं; कुछ studies में reliable early flowering के बजाय vegetative growth की response भी देखी गई है.

इसलिए इसे scientifically validated universal flowering technique नहीं माना जाना चाहिए. 🌱
