We and brothers "MAJINGILANE" were the King of Sabi Sand from (2010-2014) East, (2014-2018) West, 8 years in the reserve. The Leader boss Dark Mane, Hip Scar, Golden Mane, Scar Nose and 5th Majingilane.🩸🫂
We tore apart all the rules of Mapogo males and Selati males and began our own great reign. We controlled up to 7 prides at different times. Throughout the period of 8 years. These include: 1. Fourways 2. Styx 3. Tsalala/Marthly 4. Eyrefield/Sparta 5. Mhangeni 6. Ximhungwe and 7. Othawa Prides. We gave birth to many sons and daughters here in Sabi Sand. There are 15 males and 16 females, making a total of 31, individuals who were over three years of age or had reached adulthood.🧬✨
We protect the pride and lioness from all danger and repel all invaders out of our land. We provide security for our bloodline and descendants until they grow into adults and gain their freedom under our shadow!! "MAJINGILANE"🧠💪🏼

Our evening game drive ends off north of Nkorho open area sitting with four of the five young male lions, estimated to be roughly 5 - 6 years old. The fifth allegedly still on a buffalo kill north of our cutline, that the young coalition had brought down two evenings prior. Up to this point we had only seen this pride a handful of times and usually only fleetingly. There was something this evening that was different to our previous encounters with the young males. It was almost as if a growing confidence could be sensed amongst the coalition. The events that would follow in the wee hours of the following morning signalled a possible shift in power amongst the lions of the northern Sabi Sands.
