You are not your past.

You are not what people called you.
You are not what you did.
You are not what happened to you.

In Christ, you have a new identity.

1 Peter 2:9 says you are chosen, royal, holy, and God’s very own possession.

Once you had no identity as a people.
Now you are God’s people.

Once you received no mercy.
Now you have received God’s mercy.

That means your story does not end in darkness.

God called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Walk like you belong to Him today.

Comment NEW if you’re thankful for the mercy of God.

This isn’t for anyone on here.
But it’s crazy how some people get upset when parents teach their children the Bible and call it “indoctrination,”

but think nothing of immersing kids in
sports,
entertainment,
and every other worldview the culture celebrates.

The truth is, everyone is shaping their children with something.

7-5 years before death, most people look back and regret what they didn’t do. Don’t be that person. Do what God created you to do. Take the risk. Take the step of faith. Be bold. Do it afraid.

When you look away from the world and towards God, the noise of the world begins to be silenced by the presence of The Father.
