I didn’t wake up here. I built my way here. 🖤✨

Before I could build the life I dreamed of, I had to rebuild ME.

I had to heal parts of myself nobody knew were hurting.
I had to learn discipline when motivation disappeared.
I had to invest in my mind before expecting my life to change.
I had to stop waiting for opportunities and start creating my own.

Every step cost me something — comfort, excuses, access, relationships, old versions of myself… but every step also gave me something greater: strength, wisdom, boundaries, confidence, peace, and purpose.

The woman at the top of those stairs didn’t magically appear. She was created by every version of me that refused to quit on the steps below. 💯

And baby… I’m STILL climbing. 👠✨

I’m not chasing the life I dreamed about anymore.

I’m living in what I once prayed for while building what I haven’t even imagined yet.

PARENTS… come to the front because I need to know if I’m wrong. 👀

My baby came home and told me a little boy at school has been threatening to FIGHT HER. Now I contacted the teacher because I’m a responsible parent FIRST… but let me make something VERY clear.

I do NOT raise bullies.
I do NOT teach my children to start fights.
I do NOT teach them to put their hands on anybody.

BUT I DAMN SURE AIN’T RAISING NO PUNCHING BAG EITHER. 😭✋🏽

I told my daughter, “Baby, if somebody puts their hands on you, you better protect yourself.”

Because excuse me??? You threatening MY child and she supposed to stand there like 🧍🏽‍♀️ while you practice WWE moves?! Absolutely TF not. 😂

And before somebody comes in my comments with “violence isn’t the answer…” SAVE IT. Self-defense wasn’t the question. 🤏🏽

I’m teaching mine to walk away, tell an adult, and avoid the situation whenever possible. But once somebody puts their hands on you, the conversation has changed.

Now I wanna hear from Y’ALL because I already know these comments finna cut UP. 😂🍿

If another child threatened YOUR child and then actually put their hands on them, what are you telling your child to do?!
