Today I found out that some of my own family don’t believe Lyric is me.
Well, let me clear something up.
I’ve NEVER claimed that every single note you hear is coming straight out of my mouth.
Suno has helped shape, enhance, and perfect the vocals, including notes I can’t physically hit myself. But if you really listen, you’ll hear me in it. The voice is modeled after my own.
And regardless of what technology helped bring it to life, those are MY words. MY thoughts. MY feelings. MY creativity. MY vision.
I put that shit together!
And instead of picking it apart, why can’t you just be happy that I’m doing something I genuinely love?
You don’t have to understand it. You don’t even have to like it. But damn, can you at least respect that I’m creating something?
And let me make something else VERY clear.
The ONLY reason any of you are even hearing this music publicly is because so many people OUTSIDE of my family and friends heard it and wanted MORE!
People who didn’t know me personally believed in what I was creating enough to ask for it.
Imagine that.
Strangers celebrating something while some of the people closest to me are busy questioning it.
And if you had simply ASKED me, instead of assuming, I would’ve gladly explained the entire creative process. I’ve never hidden the fact that AI is involved.
You can question the voice. You can question the technology. But you cannot take away the fact that I created something from my own mind and brought it into the world.
And I’m proud of that!
I’m learning. I’m growing. I’m creating. And most importantly, I’M HAPPY DOING IT!
So no, I’m not about to argue, defend myself all day, or let anybody pull me away from something that brings me joy.
I choose to live on the positive side of life, and that’s exactly where I’m staying.
To everybody who has supported me, listened, shared, encouraged me, or simply believed in what I’m building, THANK YOU.
