A fresh start to a new week! I can certainly feel a little nip creeping into the air now, although the skies remain bright and the birds are still frolicking through the bushes.

This week is ALL about getting spooky season ready for your enjoyment — think ghostly research, haunting scripts and the start of filming... 👻

I do wonder if we'll ever catch a real ghost on camera one of these days. Who knows... maybe this is the year!

A little different this week… 🎃

I know a Halloween shopping video isn't exactly what you usually get from me. I'm not exactly a polished lifestyle vlogger with a beautifully curated aesthetic — chaos is much more my department. 😂

But I wanted to see what the UK shops were doing for Halloween, I know plenty of you love spooky season too, and honestly, it was nice to do something lighter for once. I'm a spooky girl, but you've got to embrace the silly side of life too. None of us are getting out of here alive!

It was a MANIC day, whizzing around Sheffield like the Sanderson sisters at the end of Hocus Pocus, while Adi and I debated what we actually needed versus what I wanted to buy. By the end, he was getting just as bad. 😂

There was a LOT to see, so I kept the best and dumped the rest. Yes Primark, I'm looking at you… 👀

We survived, although apparently I now owe Adi a Christmas shopping trip. The horror. We finished at Meadowhell with a Spoonies lasagne which looks incredibly sad in the photo but was actually rather delicious.

40,000 people. Cor Blimey 🖤

To put that into perspective, that’s roughly the population of a small UK town. Imagine if all 40,307 of us lived together — terrifying and wonderful in equal measure. 😂

Boy, what a journey this has been so far.

I’d be lying if I said it hadn’t tested me. Putting yourself online opens you up to criticism, mockery and failure. I’ve heard “get a proper job”, had people think it’s cringe and even lost friends along the way.

But I bloody love it.

I’ve discovered incredible stories, met amazing people and learnt a lot about myself along the way.

The biggest lesson? Keep turning up. Even when things flop. Even when you doubt yourself. Learn, adapt and keep going.

If it all ended tomorrow, nobody could take away the adventures, memories and experiences it’s given me.

Thank you to everyone who supports this madness — especially all 40,307 of you who chose to come along for the ride. 🖤

Behind the Grim Tales…

After starting the day with a hearty breakfast at The Imperial, we were ready to hit the streets for our Grim Tales of Blackpool tour.

Thankfully the sun was shining and it was good to see so many people out enjoying the sea air (and putting a bit of money into the local economy!).

I'd be a liar if I ignored the fact that Blackpool gets a bad rep sometimes. Like many of our seaside towns, it's fallen a long way from its golden days — boarded-up hotels, closed shops and the usual signs of neglect.

But along that promenade there's still SO much going on. It's a proper Northern seaside town and makes absolutely no apology for it.

Of course, the history gets my first vote… and I was ridiculously delighted to discover Sooty was purchased on North Pier! Who remembers Sooty?

My second discovery was the Comedy Carpet opposite the Tower — a brilliant collection of jokes, catchphrases and one-liners from some of the greats of British comedy. A few probably wouldn't make the cut in 2026 😆 but wandering across it gave me a proper wave of nostalgia.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed our latest trip to Blackpool, and a huge thank you, as always, to everyone who watches, comments, shares or supports the channel in any way.

It’s been a good few years since I’d been to Blackpool, but I must say I had a jolly good time staying at The Imperial… even if it was technically 'work' 😂

Did I enjoy myself as much as Charles Dickens? Who knows. I didn’t have a hat to kick around the beach, but if I had, I’d probably have given it a go.

Behind the scenes? A beer in the sunshine between filming, FAR too long admiring that bloody gorgeous sea view, a 3-course dinner for £25… and me cheekily asking the chap on reception if I could go underground to see the old Turkish baths.

He said YES. Cue one very excited YouTuber 👏👏

Would I go back? Absolutely. I've even been eyeing up some of their events...
