Since it’s been 4 years on YouTube, I figured I’d share a little lore.

The pic you see on the left is my 1st video.

(It’s in the vault)

The date you see was exactly one month before I got fired from my corporate sales analyst role.

I was already working on BDM, but life had other plans.

Between 2022 and 2025, I didn’t have a real full-time job. I was essentially unemployed.

Uber Eats literally kept the lights on. In the process, I lost my apartment, burned through my savings, and honestly lost a piece of my identity.

BDM wasn’t monetized until late 2024.
Exactly 2 years after first starting the channel.

By 2025, I was working three other jobs because my main job had unstable income, and 12-hour workdays weren’t unusual.

Four years later, I’m still here. I’ve probably made only about $1,500 from YouTube since starting the channel, which makes every person who watches, comments, subscribes, or shares a video mean that much more.

4 years later, I say all of that to say: Thank you.

I’m excited to see how much further BDM and everything growing around it can go from here.
