Today’s theme; religious trauma, my art today touches upon the second vital character in the Lucifer’s Law musica; Cameron.

I don’t want to spoil much, but Cameron is a heavily religious person and it does influence his character a lot and how he views the world.

Day #12 of #Syretober 😛😛

So, guess who listened to a musicals and it now became my new obsession… couldn’t be me.

Anyway, PLEASE listen/watch ‘Lucifer’s Law’ it’s free on YouTube and fully available (and bonus points cause it did released on my birthday :33).
In short, its story is about two young newly graduated lawyers and friends; Jack Cullen & Cameron Fletcher who can’t keep their job, and want to be famous for different reasons when they encounter a company called ‘Lucifer’s Law’ that’s run by no other than Lucifer. They can sell their soul and be successful in their respective careers or if they fail, have a reserved place in hell.

It’s queer, morally gray musical with a very strong ending that also speaks upon religious trauma and conflict with faith of one another. It’s also incredibly funny, I laughed so many times throughout it (and I don’t really laugh at jokes that are supposed to hit 🥹). I truly recommend it pleadeeeeeeeee 🙏🙏🙏

Anyway today’s art on the theme: Family, there is a mystery about Cameron’s mother dying and him becoming a lawyer to stand up against the unfair system with heart filled with justice. Yet Jack, unknowingly had been around and in contact with the said killer the whole entire time..

And now the killer ask: “Will you support me in court and be my defense?”

Day #11 of #Syretober ✨

Today’s theme; Guilt, as promised, another Deltarune artttt 😛😛😛

I genuinely do recommend to play the game, bcs it’s one of the best medias I’ve ever interacted with and I love it so much. This art is from a scene in Chapter 4 if you do the Weird Route; Kris tossing in their bed, unable to sleep.

I see Kris as a character full of guilt. By whatever theory you go, Kris has done something to others, especially Dess and now they’re stuck with it, unable to express it out due to either us or their own perception. They’re still a teen, meaning a lot of the new things are new to them and they’re not yet ready to either face them, or if we go by my personal favorite headcanon (which is that Kris is lowkey autistic), they don’t have an example for this situation and therefore don’t know how to act upon it.

Day #10 of #Syretober 😛😛

Today’s theme: Grief, it oh so happened to be the day I wake up and spend my morning playing Petrofski songs. And this theme is so perfect for it.

There is a song called “Visla” which is not only the longest Polish river but also a metaphor used for a very long, cold distance since when you stand at one side, you can’t see other other one and the river itself is very cold. And mixed with grief, this is a perfect combo for one of my characters; Eris.

Eris was a man, one who ought and later became a king with the only instance of becoming validated. He spend his youth as a circus performer and that’s all he knew how to do, genuinely vulnerability was not accepted. So the only way he knew how to, he reached the top, yet the respect didn’t came with being the king at an instant. This was taken advantage of later by another person whom he decided to join in with.

Eris fucked up.
He sold his kids (figuratively and literally)
He hanged his first wife and indirectly shot the love of his life.
Chasing after fame with blinded eyes. And when he finally sees the harm he’s caused, it’s too late already.

To me, Eris is a figurative showcase of a person who refuses to acknowledge nor face the consequences of their actions. Theyre not evil, but this trait causes them to purposefully pretend the past never happened and it keeps building up until it inevitably blows up one day and every one of the mistakes they made is now in front of them. The longer you don’t adress or confront something, the longer it’ll be quited down, but it’ll never disappear.

For today’s theme; Innocent, I once again picked TDL, Vali this time. She, to me, represents the lost innocence of a kid who grew up in a world full of lies and as she grows up and starts to question everything, it all becomes crystal clear her reality isn’t what she thought.
