đź’•Shoujo Sundae đź’• is a delectable podcast safe haven for fans of shoujo [or shojo] anime and manga. If you have a strong love for shoujo, but no place or people to talk about it with, welcome to your new favorite ice cream parlor. Your hosts, @Giana_Luna_ and @ChikaSupreme , invite you to come get a scoop and add as many sprinkles as your heart desires! đź’•
Each episode of anime is broken down into categories such as A Soft Serve Summary, Sprinkles on Top, Floats Your Boat, Banana Split, Hot Fudge, and I Scream, You Scream, giving you space to reflect on the symbolism, positive/negative aspects, and your hot takes of each show they review. People that crave more shoujo will certainly find community through Shoujo Sundae, kinship through its hosts, and sweet, sweet empowerment through its conversation. đź’•
New episodes every other Sunday. Let’s dig in! 💕

We have been nominated as FINALISTS for a Signal Award in their Recaps category! We're up against the Hacks podcast by Warner Brothers, and the We Have the Receipts Podcast by Netflix. There's a Listener's Choice category, and we need YOUR help! Please VOTE & SHARE THE LINK so that we can beat these giant corporations! It would be HUGE for a small, niche, nerdy podcast self-produced by two queer women to win against this big guys.
We only have a 1% lead, and voting ends in 3 days, so EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

We loved having ‪@ayusheknows‬ on the podcast to discuss #ASignofAffection! Such a visually stunning anime. Both Giana and Chika have guested on Sparkleside Chats with Magical Girl Ayu last year, so it was great to have her on our podcast this time. You can listen to us discuss #PhantomThiefJeanne & #CardcaptorSakuraClearCard right now on Spotify. Also, subscribe to Ayu's YouTube Channel 💓💓💓💓

You can listen to our podcast episodes, wherever you get your podcasts. Please make sure to rate us five stars and share our content on social media. We would love to be a weekly podcast, so please consider joining our Patreon so we can hire an editor to make that possible. It's the only way we would be able to review longer #shoujo shows like #RoseofVersailles, #RevolutionaryGirlUtena, #FushigiYugi, #PeachGirl, #SailorMoon, and etc. Thanks! 🍨www.patreon.com/ShoujoSundae

We gave ‪@ggPAiDA‬ the warmest of welcomes since they guested on the podcast for #SasakiandMiyanoGraduation! She's an accomplished J-Idol and sings our theme song. Please check out her single, The Denial Age. She worked very hard on it. #kaigaiidol

We were overjoyed to have Pearl Low, creator of Wheels and Roses, on the podcast to discuss #SasakiandMiyano! If you haven't watched the trailer for Wheels and Roses, what are you waiting for? It's so good! #mahoushoujo #sportsanime

We had the best time interviewing ‪@Ryan_Colt_Levy‬ for our Shounen Sundae episode! It is available now everywhere. We want to give special thanks to ‪@VocalPineapple‬ & ‪@bdalaw‬ for providing us with extra questions that Ryan enjoyed. If anyone wants to check out our Shounen Sundae episodes covering #ChainsawMan and also #FrierenBeyondJourneysEnd then definitely subscribe to our Patreon. Everything we get on there helps us in possibly making Shoujo Sundae a weekly podcast again. So, if you want us to review shoujo shows with many episodes, then please become a patron. www.patreon.com/ShoujoSundae
