November marks a time of expansion, bold action, and the pursuit of new horizons, with the energies of the Holidays infusing the month. This is a time when you’re encouraged to explore new ideas, reconnect with your purpose, and make plans for the future. As the Thanksgiving season leads us into the anticipation of Christmas, there is an underlying shift toward reflection, gratitude, and preparation for the upcoming year. For each archetype, this month brings a unique focus—balancing personal growth with the festivities and emotional undertones of the season.
1. The Spark
Focus for November: As the social butterfly, the energy will elevate your already vibrant personality. This is a time to connect deeply with loved ones and expand your social circles, but also a time to slow down and reflect during the Thanksgiving season. The holiday spirit encourages deep emotional connections, and this will enhance your natural ability to form bonds.
Strength: Your charisma and natural energy will shine at gatherings, making you the life of every holiday party or family event. You’re gifted at creating fun, memorable moments. Weakness: The temptation to over-extend yourself in social settings may leave you feeling drained. It’s easy to get caught up in the holiday rush, spreading your attention thin. Opportunity: Use Thanksgiving to create meaningful memories and deepen personal connections. This is an excellent time to nurture relationships that matter most, focusing on quality rather than quantity. Threat: Overcommitting yourself to too many events or activities could leave you overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted as the season progresses.
Holiday Focus: Thanksgiving presents an ideal time to express gratitude, bond with close ones, and reflect on your blessings. Use this season to center yourself around emotional connection and intentional engagement, without overloading your schedule.
2. The Strategist
Focus for November: With the holiday influence, it’s time for you to stretch beyond your analytical mind and allow for some growth in your worldview. Thanksgiving calls for reflection on what you’ve achieved, while also making room for new ideas and experiences. Don’t allow the desire for control or perfection to overshadow the spontaneity and excitement of the season.
Strength: Your ability to think critically and plan for the future makes you well-suited to navigating both the holiday season and upcoming year. You can strategize and organize family events or personal goals with precision. Weakness: A tendency to overanalyze could hinder your ability to embrace the fun and unpredictability of the holiday season. You might get caught in perfectionism, missing the simple joys. Opportunity: Take advantage of the time around Thanksgiving to reflect deeply on your long-term goals, realigning them as you move into the final months of the year. Plan ahead for a successful new year while still allowing space for new experiences. Threat: Don’t let a need for control or excessive preparation keep you from being present. The holidays are about balance—don’t let your structured approach limit your ability to enjoy the moment.
Holiday Focus: Thanksgiving allows you to reflect on your progress and recalibrate goals. Use this time to assess what’s working and what’s not, without getting too bogged down in details. Embrace the season’s festivities, but keep an eye on your long-term plans.
3. The Striver
Focus for November: The bold, ambitious energy of the holidays is a perfect match for your driven nature. With Thanksgiving approaching, it's a good time to pause, recalibrate, and ensure that your goals align with your values. As the season leads into Christmas, the rush to achieve can be intense, but balance this with moments of gratitude and family connection.
Strength: Your ambition and focus on success will serve you well as you push forward toward your objectives. The Sagittarian spirit of adventure may lead you to explore new opportunities. Weakness: The drive to accomplish more could make you feel restless, particularly during the slower-paced holiday season. This may lead to impatience with the emotional and family-focused aspects of the holidays. Opportunity: Use Thanksgiving as a moment to reflect on your achievements, but also to slow down and appreciate the small victories. The pre-Christmas season offers opportunities for personal growth and recalibration. Threat: Don’t become so fixated on your goals that you miss the emotional richness of the holidays. Thanksgiving and the Christmas season call for time spent with family and moments of rest, not just work.
Holiday Focus: Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect on your journey and set intentions for the new year. Don’t allow the holiday frenzy to derail your progress, but also take time to recharge so you can give the coming season your full attention.
4. The Steady
Focus for November: For you, the holiday energy brings a chance to step out of your comfort zone and embrace the season’s changes, but in a way that still honors your need for stability and peace. Thanksgiving offers a time to reflect on what you’re grateful for, while Christmas is an opportunity to give with intention and maintain your calm amidst the holiday bustle.
Strength: Your steady, calming presence will be especially valued during family gatherings. You are the foundation people rely on, providing balance and emotional stability. Weakness: The sudden influx of holiday activities could feel overwhelming, especially when it disrupts your peaceful routine. There may be a temptation to resist change or avoid the social energy. Opportunity: Use Thanksgiving to create traditions that bring comfort and joy. While others rush around, your calm and centered approach will serve you well. Look for ways to embrace gradual changes that allow for growth without losing your sense of inner peace. Threat: Don’t isolate yourself during the holidays. While you value peace and routine, this is a time to embrace small shifts and new experiences that can deepen your connections with others.
Holiday Focus: Thanksgiving offers an opportunity to reflect on what truly matters and maintain balance. Embrace the season of giving and focus on small, meaningful contributions to those around you, while also taking care of your own well-being.
In this cycle, the holiday energy encourages growth and expansion, but also challenges each archetype to find a balance between personal development and the warmth and reflection the holiday season brings. Embrace the season with an eye toward both the future and present, finding ways to nurture your core strengths while remaining open to the energies of the holidays.
In a movie, a character named Thanos said “This day extracts a heavy toll.” This year has been that way for me and after another loss of life…I wrote this. Wanted to share in case you feel similarly.
Saltwater
Water and sodium chloride. I'm not much of a chemist or anything. I can only tell you what it tastes like as it hits your tongue. Familiar and warm having wrenched it's way out of it's prison. I'm not sure how they escaped but they always seem to make a run for it when you least expect it. You can see the path they took fleeing from the eyes. Even if you don't look, I know because I can feel the path they took carved into what was supposed to be the immovable stone face I present. I see how the Grand Canyon was formed over many years as the Earth cried for everything that it's lost over a billion years. One disaster after another and how could she not weep?
How does she move on? Why does she keep spinning? I want to hurl myself into the sun from losing everything I thought I loved but she keeps spiraling and spiraling. It feels like it's to spite me. We could fly into the sun together! She smiles...and spirals more.
My spirals don't feel quite as organized. My spirals don't feel imbued with purpose. I look at her in amazement because her resilience is measured in layers that measure miles. The storms she's weathered make mine seem like a gentle spring breeze.
But why can't I stop crying? The salt doesn't burn but it does feel like my life is licking the drain searching for the taste of some elusive pleasure I might have seen lingering just moments before.
Nothing's there but my depravity.
I have the nerve, the self indulgence to crack a smile as the water carries memory like messages in a bottle. I open them and receive transmissions from some other person, in some other place, from some other time. Ooh, this one's a joke and I laugh for a moment until the salt returns to my tongue and another bottle washes up. I take the message and it's something they said to me once. Another bottle reveals a map to where you spent time. Buried treasure! Going through bottle after bottle until you have a sea of tears surrounding an island of memories that you sit alone on.
I can feel them hanging from my chin. I didn't expect the escapees to have gotten this far. Where will they go now, hanging from the edge of the precipice? One jumps. I feel his body crash against my chest. The next escapee isn't so brave and stands looking out knowing he can't go back. And he doesn't want to die like his comrade.
Why won't the feelings die? Why is it that you have to wake up every day without the people you love? Why don't they love me the way I love them?
Ineptitude! Incompetence! The prison has left the gate open and everyone is fleeing but they for some idiotic reason have closed my nose and throat. They are so thorough to constrict every way of escape except the one the tears are using.
I quit. Who can deal with all of this? How do people seem like they are just fine? How do you just go vote? Go to work? Eat a donut? Buy another pair of sandals for the trip? Where are you going? Isn't there pain there too? Aren't there people hurting? Are you going to ignore them?
There it is. That pain behind my ear trying to tell me something. "They ignore you! Why would you care about them?" Maybe it's right. Whatever "it" is. Am I being evil by allowing people to care about me? Should I stop?
Am I going to make people taste saltwater? Have I already?
Now what?
You know. The path the tears took crusts over. They leave behind a trail of salt. Weird for escapees to be so sloppy. It's like they want to be caught!
I resent all of this.
I wouldn't want to leave all of this.
I see why she spirals around the sun. Unable to fly away. Unable to fall into. "You won't let me live! You won't let me die!"
Like me, she's an ocean of salt crying into itself at the beauty and horror of everything, everywhere, all the time...
Today’s stream with IG Green has to be postponed! Please stay tuned for updates. And I have a question while you’re here. Someone on instagram and Bro C had made a statement I need resolved.
Is not voting for VP Harris equal to an actual vote for Trump?
I know I poo poo’d blind faith in voting but please listen to the roles and power dynamics of local leadership. Please focus any attention there, to the state and city level.

With Biden dropping out of the race for President, I have questions for everyone:
Can America get behind a woman? *pause*
Covid and being stuck at home did Biden like it did Americans. Did he realize he wasn’t essential?
Will Harris become more Black, more Asian or more feminist during her campaign?
Can we trust her judgment if she thought Biden was fit to lead and he didn’t?
Who should be her running mate? Me, Bri or Yella?
