🚨Assistant principal faces more charges after new victims come forward in Ohio

🚨A local assistant principal is facing new charges of sexual battery involving allegations from four new victims, according to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office., Ohio

Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announced 🚨43-year-old Steven Barton was indicted Thursday on six counts of sexual battery and two counts of grooming, stemming from allegations involving four more victims the office says were discovered after he was initially indicted in a separate case.

🚨Aiken served as the assistant principal at Aiken High School. The district says he has since been removed from duty.

🚨Prosecutors allege Barton used his position as an assistant principal to have inappropriate physical contact with students.

⚖️According to the prosecutor's office, Barton is accused of using ❌️school records to determine which classes students were in before ❌️removing students from class and taking them to ❌️private locations.

🚨The prosecutor's office says Barton is also accused of taking some students ❌️shopping, ❌️driving them to and from school, and ❌️sending them money through ❌️Cash App.

🚨According to the prosecutor's office, two of the newly identified victims 🗣were 15 years old and two were 17 years old at the time of the alleged conduct.

"Barton exploited his position of authority," Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich said. "Students should be able to walk into their school knowing that the adults entrusted with their care will protect them. We will continue to pursue justice for every victim and hold accountable anyone who violates the trust placed in them."

⛓️Barton was previously indicted on five charges of ❌️sexual battery and one charge of ❌️grooming involving a 16-year-old student.

🚨In that case, documents ⚖️say statements made by the victim were corroborated by video surveillance, as well as statements made by Barton.

🚨Detectives said Barton had been grooming the 16-year-old student since last school year, allegedly❌️ isolating her from other students and staff members.

🚨In a statement following the initial indictment, Cincinnati Public Schools said the district is "deeply concerned" by the allegations, that Barton has been removed from duty, and that the district is cooperating.

🚨Dewberry transferred his sex offender registration to Montgomery County, Ohio, in July 2025.

🚨Dewberry has been in federal custody ⚖️in Shelby County, Ohio, for the federal case since November 2025. 📅 The charging information for that case remains sealed.⁉️

🚨Dewberry was previously convicted of molesting a 6-year-old girl in 2017📅 after he forced her to touch his genitals.

🚨He later texted the girl's father, admitting to molesting the girl, saying, “I did it. I'll turn myself in on Monday. I can't say I'm sorry cause I'm sick, and you right; I should be dead.”

🚨He was given a seven-year sentence and❌️ only had to serve four years.⁉️⁉️

🚨The deal for David McDaniel was filed yesterday, and he is set to go before a judge today.

🚨He was originally charged with ❌️two F1 felonies and an F4.❗️ According to the plea deal, he agreed to plead guilty to only two F4s.⁉️⁉️

🚨Two victims reported in July 2025📅 that McDaniel inappropriately touched them while they were sleeping, with alleged assaults beginning around 2016 when the victims were about 9 years old.

🚨The Indiana State Police investigated the allegations and arrested McDaniel in July 2025. 📅He had previously retired from IMPD in 2024. 🚨

🚨Someone facing an F1 could go to prison for 50 years. In this deal, an F4 is a fixed term of not more than twelve (12) years, with the minimum sentence being two (2) years and the advisory sentence being six (6) years.

The judge does not have to agree to the deal.

🚨A former Tennessee ❌️sheriff’s deputy posed as a 14-year-old boy 👨‍💻online to manipulate children as young as ❌️sixth grade into producing sexually explicit videos and images. ❗️❗️

🚨He pressured one child to engage in sex acts with a dog, threatened to expose another child’s intimate images and even encouraged victims to recruit their own relatives and friends.

🚨Johnathan Nathaniel Allen, 27, of Chattanooga, has now been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for producing child sexual abuse material after an investigation uncovered eight confirmed victims across the country.

Allen carried out the abuse while serving as a sheriff’s deputy, a position he had held since 2021.❗️

🚨The investigation began when a South Carolina father discovered disturbing text messages on his 13-year-old daughter’s phone and contacted police.

🚨Investigators with the York County Sheriff’s Office and FBI discovered that Allen had been posing as a teenage boy named ❌️ “Josh” on social media and other online platforms to target and exploit children.

🚨Allen used❌️ Instagram, ❌️Reddit, ❌️TextMe and the online gaming platform❌️ Roblox to contact minors, gain their trust and pressure them into producing sexual content.

Investigators say Allen manipulated the children with declarations of love, compliments and reassurances that he would never hurt them.

🚨When one child refused his demands for sexual content eight times, Allen continued pushing until he persuaded the child to speak with him by phone using a virtual number through TextMe. During the call, he pressured the child into producing sexual abuse material.

🚨In another disturbing example, Allen threatened to distribute one child’s intimate images if the child refused to communicate with him.

🚨The abuse became even more alarming when Allen asked one minor to engage in sex acts with a dog and attempted to ❌️recruit the child’s cousins, friends and family members to participate in sexual acts with the victim.❗️

🚨One child described Allen as repeatedly “begging” for sexual content. Another was crying while producing material because the child did not want to do it. Allen responded by telling the child he was proud and had taught the child something new.

🚨He then directed the child to delete the material so nobody else would see it. But one victim’s father managed to recover deleted content and turned it over to investigators.

Authorities ultimately identified victims in❌️ South Carolina, ❌️Georgia, ❌️Kansas, ❌️Missouri and❌️ New York.❗️

🚨When agents searched Allen’s home, they recovered his phone, which contained the Reddit and TextMe accounts associated with the fake “Josh” identity, along with child sexual abuse material. Investigators also found communications with the South Carolina victim, including calls Allen made❌️ after authorities had seized the child’s phone.

Agents discovered clothing in Allen’s bedroom that matched what “Josh” wore in explicit images sent to a minor. One photograph the fake identity had shared on Reddit was also a picture of Allen when he was younger.⁉️

“This defendant was sworn to serve and protect, instead he deceived and exploited,” U.S. Attorney Bryan Stirling said.

FBI Columbia Special Agent in Charge Anish Shukla said Allen went to “vile lengths” to impersonate someone else to victimize a child and rob that child of their innocence.

U.S. District Judge Sherri A. Lydon sentenced Allen to 25 years in federal prison⛓️, followed by 15 years of court-ordered supervision.

He was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution to a victim and another $4,000 to a victim services fund. Allen must register as a sex offender.

There is no parole in the federal prison system.

🚨Investigators say she took the child to a Tyler medical practice on at least 10 visits from 2019 to 2023. 📅 She stayed in the room.

🚨An arrest affidavit says the visits happened several times a month. The child was told to undress, then lie on an exam table.

The child cried and begged him to stop. Filings say the answer was, "This is what doctors do."

🚨The child later told 🗣 another adult and a counselor that the physician handed Alicia Evonne Sanchez Adderall afterward. She put the pills in a clear baggie and said they were "for people who couldn't get them from their doctor."

🚨Records say Kenneth Donald Haygood diagnosed the child with ADHD and wrote the Adderall prescription himself. 🚨Sanchez is held in the Smith County Jail.

🚨The charge carries up to 99 years or life if she is convicted.

⁉️Haygood, 56, ❌️pleaded guilty in September 2025📅 to two second-degree sexual assault counts from 2017 and 2018.📅

🚨 Judge Austin Reeve Jackson gave him 8 years on each count, to run at the same time, days before trial.⁉️

⁉️Seven other counts were ❌️dropped in that deal, including ❌️aggravated sexual assault of a child and❌️ practicing medicine ❌️without a license. He got 585 days of credit and must register as a sex offender for life.⁉️

🚨The Texas Medical Board suspended him in October 2023 🚨 after he kept seeing female patients against a June 2023 order.⁉️⁉️ Reports do not show a new charge against him in the Sanchez case.

🚨 Former physician Larry Nassar is among ❌️more than ✔️20,000 convicted sex offenders removed from Michigan’s sex offender registry ❗️❗️ Tuesday, by the Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

🚨The removal follows a major ruling earlier this month by the Michigan Supreme Court determining that individuals who committed ❌️sex offenses before July 2011 📅cannot be required to comply with the state’s current sex offender registry law.

⁉️In a unanimous decision, the court ruled that applying the 2021 law retroactively to older cases imposes unconstitutional punishment after the fact.⁉️

🚨The ruling does not affect individuals whose offenses took place on or after July 1, 2011. Those offenders remain subject to current state registration requirements.

🚨Nassar was tried in Eaton and Ingham Counties, ultimately pleading guilty to seven counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving minor victims in Ingham County and three counts in Eaton County.

🚨He was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in state prison for the Ingham County charges and an additional 40 to 125 years for the Eaton County charges.

🚨Nassar also pleaded guilty to child pornography charges at the federal level and received an additional 60-year sentence.

🚨USA Gymnastics officials and athletes originally reported allegations against Larry Nassar to the FBI's Indianapolis Field Office in July 2015.📅 🚨Special Agent Michael Langeman and Supervisory Special Agent W. Jay Abbott were the key FBI officials responsible for failing to document or investigate the claims at that time. 

The FBI mishandled the claims and failed to take formal investigative action for over a year, until a Michigan State University police investigation and public reporting by the Indianapolis Star led to his arrest in late 2016. 

🚨Special Agent Michael Langeman was fired by the FBI in September 2021 following a Department of Justice Inspector General report that detailed how he botched the initial interview with a victim and made false statements.

🚨​Supervisory Special Agent Jay Abbott, who headed the FBI’s Indianapolis field office during the botched investigation, retired from the FBI in 2018 before administrative disciplinary action could be finalized. Despite the Inspector General finding that both men mishandled the case and lied to investigators, the Department of Justice declined to file federal criminal charges against either former agent.

🚨Agent W. Jay Abbott, the former Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Indianapolis Field Office. While overseeing the report on Larry Nassar, he discussed and applied for a job with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, which worked closely with USA Gymnastics. 

🚨Larry Nassar was accused of abusing more than 260 women and girls over two decades. During his sentencing hearings, over 150 survivors delivered or submitted victim impact statements detailing his abuse. 

🚨More than 500 women and girls ultimately joined class-action lawsuits against USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC). In December 2021, those organizations reached a major $380 million settlement to resolve the claims brought by those survivors.

🚨Eleven men drove to the Westfield area to meet with what they believed to be young girls for the sole purpose of having sex with those children.

During the 3-day operation men arrived at a location to meet but were met by undercover police officers instead.
