I REALLY needed this 🥹❤️
I just spent 48 hours at Radisson Blu Lagos for a little luxury staycation — waterfront views, room service, spa time, breakfast, dinner and a Chef’s Table experience.
And honestly… I didn’t want to leave.
But tell me first: what’s your ideal Lagos staycation?
🧖🏾♀️ Spa + relaxation
🍽️ Amazing food
🌊 Pool/waterfront views
😴 Sleeping in and doing absolutely NOTHING 😂
👇🏾 Tell me yours.

Okay, the Île Eros review is officially LIVE!!!
I went in expecting a beautiful restaurant and a good meal. I left thinking about something much bigger. But that doesn't mean I thought everything was perfect. 😅
I tried the drinks, starters, mains and dessert and I have A LOT to say about what stood out, what surprised me and whether I think Île Eros is actually worth the experience.
Have you watched it yet? And if you've been to Île Eros, do you agree with my verdict? 👀

Foodie in Lagos
I went to Île Eros by Chef Eros (One of the judges on Masterchef Nigeria) in Lagos expecting a beautiful restaurant and a good meal.
I left thinking about something much bigger.
There was something about the way Nigerian and West African food was being presented here that genuinely moved me. The space, the details, the food, the intention behind it all — it felt like a celebration of where we come from.
And honestly? It made me proud to be African. 🤍
But I’m not going to tell you the food was perfect just because I loved the experience. We tried the drinks, starters, mains and dessert, and I have a LOT to say about what stood out, what surprised me, and whether I think Île Eros is worth the experience.
I’m sharing the full review on YouTube today at 12pm 👀
Have you heard of Île Eros yet? And what’s one Lagos restaurant that has genuinely impressed you?

Okayyy… I know I’ve been quiet on here❤️
After 13 weeks of MasterChef Nigeria recaps, I think I needed a little breather!
The finale was 4 weeks ago and I’ve been taking some time to slow down, get out of my YouTube routine and… well, I’ve been in Abuja! 🇳🇬
I’ve still been creating and filming, so I have A LOT to share with you.
I’ll be back to posting videos very soon, but in the meantime I thought I’d actually start using this space to take you guys along with me a little more. 🥹❤️
How have you all been??

A year ago, food content took me to Ireland. 🇮🇪
I still remember getting that invitation.
When I started Foodie in Lagos over 10 years ago, I honestly never imagined that reviewing restaurants would one day fly me across the world.
Looking back now, this trip wasn't just about Ireland—it reminded me what consistency can lead to.
I realised many of you subscribed after I uploaded this vlog, so you've probably never seen it.
If you've ever wondered what an international creator trip actually looks like behind the scenes, I'd love for you to watch it. I think you'll enjoy this one.

It’s only just hit me that we’re almost at the end of MasterChef Nigeria. 🥹
For the past 12 weeks, I’ve shown up every single week on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok talking about this show.
Some weeks I was exhausted. Some weeks I wondered why I’d signed myself up to edit multiple versions of the same video every week. 😂
But then I read comments like, “I’m going to miss your recaps,” before the season has even ended…
That got me.
Thank you for making this feel like a community instead of just content. We’ve laughed, debated, defended our favourites and mourned every elimination together.
Episode 12 recap drops today, and then we’ve got one final recap left. Let’s enjoy these last two together. 🤎
