Maa Jagadamba

Bhavricha Upanishad (2)

From her Brahma was born; Vishnu was born; Rudra was born. All the gods of the wind were born, celestial minstrels, nymphs, semi-human beings playing instruments, were born from her, on all sides. That which is appreciated was born; everything was born (from her). All of Power was born (from her). That which is born of the egg, that which is born of sweat, that which is born of the seed, that which is born of the womb, whatever is breathing here, both the stationary and that which moves, and man was born (from her).

Shri Devi Mahabhagavata Puranam (1.3)

I salute the mother of the universe, the producer of divine happiness, worshiping whom Brahma creates this universe, Vishnu maintains the same and Mahesvara annihilates the creation and is meditated upon by all yogis and who is narrated as the root cause of the entire universe of the Munis and Para by learned philosophies.

Maa Jagadamba

Parvati (Bhagavati) Gita (1.66-69)

Therefore, let the wise man worship Me by performing all the prescribed rituals, thinking of Me with devotion, and let no other thought visit him. Let him, therefore, perform the prescribed rites with a pure heart, and let him always seek liberation, linked to the knowledge of the supreme spirit. Showing compassion for all beings, for his son, friend, and others, let him concentrate his mind on Vedanta and other sacred scriptures. Let him completely abandon lust and all other desires, and let him not commit violence. Acting in this way, he will attain supreme knowledge, and of this there is no doubt.

Shri Kalika Puranam (55.66-69)

They should demonstrate this mudra (yonimudra) three times, repeating the mulamantra. After the adept has placed this mudra on his head, he should draw a mandala in the northeast corner with his fingers, without the gate and the lotus. The adept should bow to Raktacanda there (at the mandala), repeating the mantra "hrim-srim", and offer the flowers to the mandala, uttering the words: "Om, reverence to Raktacanda". Then, you can throw the flowers into the water or place them on the trunk of a tree. Any man who worships Goddess Shiva in this way, following the rules, will soon see all his desires fulfilled, whatever they may be in his mind.
