今天（9月13日），我们来到美国加州比弗利山庄的于朦胧纪念长椅前，举行了于朦胧逝世一周年纪念活动。

我们一起清洗了纪念长椅，并献上了鲜花，缅怀这个因遭遇不公已离开我们整整一年的人。

活动期间，也有不少路过的民众停下脚步，询问于朦胧是谁、发生了什么事情。还有一位朦友专程从长滩赶来参加活动，并亲手写下明信片，表达了对这位素未谋面的中国年轻人的支持。

今天也是为期七天的「于朦胧纪念周」最后一天。在过去的一周时间里，来自世界各地的朦友跨越国家与语言，以不同的方式参与了纪念活动。

我们为于朦胧发声，也是在为独裁统治下被剥夺人权的所有人发声；我们纪念于朦胧，也是在捍卫每个人追寻真相的权利。

纪念周会结束，但纪念不会结束，对真相的追问也不会停止。

感谢所有人的参与，未来我们将继续为于朦胧发声，向中共问责！

Today, September 13, we gathered at the Yu Menglong Memorial Bench in Beverly Hills, California, to mark the first anniversary of Yu Menglong’s passing.

Together, we cleaned the memorial bench and laid flowers in remembrance of a young man who has now been gone for an entire year after suffering injustice.

During the event, several passersby stopped to ask who Yu Menglong was and what had happened to him. One supporter even traveled all the way from Long Beach to join us and personally wrote a postcard expressing support for this young Chinese man she had never met.

Today also marks the final day of the seven-day Yu Menglong Memorial Week. Over the past week, supporters from around the world have crossed national and linguistic boundaries to take part in memorial activities in many different ways.

When we speak up for Yu Menglong, we are also speaking up for all those whose human rights have been denied under authoritarian rule. When we remember Yu Menglong, we are also defending everyone’s right to seek the truth.

Memorial Week may come to an end, but remembrance will not. Neither will our pursuit of the truth.

Thank you to everyone who participated. We will continue to speak up for Yu Menglong and hold the Chinese Communist Party accountable.

🇨🇿 一位来自捷克的朦友，于当地时间9月11日，独自一人来到中国驻捷克大使馆门前，手举“Justice for Yu Menglong”海报，为于朦胧伸张正义。

一个人，一张海报，一小时的坚守。即便面对中国大使馆的阻挠，她也没有选择退缩。

捷克警察告诉她：按照当地法律，她有权站在那里。

她说：“下周我还会再来，每天站一个小时。”

勇气并不取决于身边有多少人，而在于不畏强权、敢于挺身而出。

她不是政治活动人士，只是一位不愿沉默的普通人；正因如此，这份勇气更加令人敬佩。

🇨🇿 On September 11, local time, a supporter of Yu Menglong from the Czech Republic went alone to the Chinese Embassy, holding a “Justice for Yu Menglong” poster and calling for justice for him.

One person. One poster. One hour of steadfastness. Even when faced with interference from the Chinese Embassy, she refused to back down.

The Czech police told her that, under local law, she had every right to stand there.

She said, “I will come back next week and stand here for one hour every day.”

Courage is not measured by how many people stand beside you, but by the strength to confront power and step forward.

She is not a political activist—just an ordinary person who refuses to remain silent. That makes her courage all the more admirable.

2026年9月11日晚，马来西亚的朋友们在吉隆坡如期举行了声援于朦胧的线下联署活动。

在吉隆坡地标双子塔前，他们手持海报与横幅走上街头，向公众介绍于朦胧事件、征集联署签名。将对于朦胧的声援成功转化为了切实的线下行动。

这也是首场使用于朦胧逝世一周年纪念旗帜的线下活动，感谢他们的正义之举，让世界又多了一缕不灭的希望！🙏

On the evening of September 11, 2026, friends in Malaysia held an in-person petition campaign in Kuala Lumpur as planned, calling for justice for Yu Menglong.

In front of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers, they took to the streets carrying posters and banners, raising public awareness about Yu Menglong’s case and collecting petition signatures. They turned their support for Yu Menglong into meaningful action on the ground.

This was also the first offline event to feature the commemorative flag marking the first anniversary of Yu Menglong’s passing. Thank you for standing up for justice and bringing another enduring light of hope into the world! 🙏

2026年9月10日下午5时至9月11日全天，越南朦友们在河内和胡志明市共点亮了五块LED纪念大屏。尽管当地下着大雨，她们依然怀着激动的心情，在雨中向我分享了这一珍贵时刻。

他们还使用我（Ende Chen）公开分享的设计稿，提前定制了纪念服装，并以于朦胧的名义参与“森林花园（Vườn Rừng）”公益植树项目，捐助种植365棵森林树木，以纪念过去365天从未停止的思念。

他们说：“愿每一棵被种下的绿树，都承载着我们对过去365天的思念，也寄托着未来漫长岁月里的牵挂。愿时光流逝，当树枝逐渐向上伸展、树冠日益茂盛，他留下的爱与美好，依然能够在人间不断传递。”

纪念可以化作照亮城市的光、雨中坚定的身影，以及一片面向未来生长的森林。

感谢越南朋友们用如此温暖而有意义的方式铭记他，让这份跨越国界的爱与善意，温暖每一颗不愿遗忘的心灵。🙏💙🌳

From 5:00 PM on September 10 through September 11, 2026, Yu Menglong’s supporters in Vietnam lit up five LED memorial screens across Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Despite the heavy rain, they excitedly shared this precious moment with me from the streets.

They also used the designs I, Ende Chen, had publicly shared to create custom memorial clothing in advance. In Yu Menglong’s name, they participated in the “Forest Garden (Vườn Rừng)” charitable tree-planting project, sponsoring the planting of 365 forest trees to commemorate 365 days of enduring remembrance.

They said:

“May every tree planted carry our love and remembrance from the past 365 days, as well as our enduring devotion throughout the many years ahead. As time passes, may the branches reach ever higher and the canopies grow ever fuller—and may the love and beauty he left behind continue to spread throughout this world.”

Remembrance can become a light illuminating a city, a steadfast presence in the rain, and a forest growing toward the future.

Thank you to our friends in Vietnam for remembering him in such a heartfelt and meaningful way. May this love and kindness, transcending borders, bring warmth to every soul that refuses to forget. 🙏💙🌳

一位居住在布宜诺斯艾利斯的朋友原本希望找到更多人，一起参加于朦胧纪念周活动。虽然最终没能找到同行者，她依然选择独自出镜，在自己的家中录制了这段西班牙语视频，表达对于朦胧的思念。

她说：“我们已经为朦胧流下了太多眼泪，泪水仿佛汇成了海。现在，让我们送给天空中的他一个微笑。你如一颗流星，重新回到了天空。”

她还特意使用了我创作的纪念歌曲《Remember His Name》作为背景音乐，以表达对我的支持。

感谢她跨越语言与国界，用自己的方式参与于朦胧纪念周活动。即使只有一个人，真诚的纪念也不会显得微小；每一份不愿去遗忘的诚心，都将成为世界上最珍贵的礼物。🙏🇦🇷💙

A friend living in Buenos Aires originally hoped to find more people to join her in participating in Yu Menglong Memorial Week. Although she was ultimately unable to find anyone to join her, she still chose to appear on camera by herself and recorded this Spanish-language video from her home to express how much she misses Yu Menglong.

She said:

“We have already shed so many tears for Menglong that they seem to have formed an ocean. Now, let us send a smile to him in the sky. Like a shooting star, you have returned to the heavens.”

She also chose my memorial song, *Remember His Name*, as the background music for the video as a gesture of support for me and my work.

My heartfelt thanks to her for crossing the boundaries of language and distance to take part in Yu Menglong Memorial Week in her own way.

Even when there is only one person, a sincere act of remembrance is never insignificant. Every heart that refuses to forget is one of the most precious gifts this world can offer. 🙏🇦🇷💙
