Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World
they/them

We’re Judy and Kevin, full-time travelers who left our corporate jobs and got rid of everything. We set out in 2022 with only carry-ons, a suitcase and a decision that the next chapter could look completely different.

We share not just where we go, but how travel changes us—the surprises, challenges and deeper purpose we’re discovering. If you’re wondering whether this kind of life is actually possible—financially, practically, physically, you're in the right place.

What you'll find here:
👉 Destination videos with a point of view, not just a highlight reel
💰 Transparent cost breakdowns in every destination
🏛️ Local stories and history that brings places to life
👋 What it means to feel at home anywhere—even without a home base

Why Finding Gina Marie?
In 2021, at 55, Judy reunited with her birth family. The name her Italian birth mother gave her—Gina Marie—and that reunion sparked both this channel and this new way of life.

Wander more. Worry less. Bring a passport. ❤️

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

NEW EPISODE: We’re ready to share where 2027 is taking us. Some places have been on our list forever. A few were added at the last minute. And several didn’t survive the planning process at all. There’s also one trip on the calendar that makes us slightly nervous every time we look at the cost. Wait until you see where 2027 is taking us. ❤️

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

🇿🇼 Have you had a chance to watch our latest video from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe? Even if a trip to Africa isn't on your radar, we think you'll enjoy this one! We had some of the most incredible wildlife encounters of our nearly four years of full-time travel.

Imagine sitting just feet away from wild elephants, being surrounded by a herd of Cape buffalo that had absolutely no intention of letting you leave, and watching dozens of vultures (and a few opportunistic warthogs!) gather for a conservation feeding. Add families of baboons wandering through town and an unforgettable sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, and you've got a week we'll never forget.

And yes if you're curious, we share what everything cost, too! ❤️—Judy & Kevin

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

Sadly we won't have a new video this week. We're in Cappadocia, Türkiye staying in a very cool cave hotel. We're here until Tuesday when we head to the US for a week, but Kevin has come down with a bad cold. It made sense to allow him to lay low and recuperate before our long-haul flight. Here are some photos of the incredible time we're having so far here! We miss you! — ♥️ Judy & Kevin

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

NEW SUNDAY EPISODE: Sometimes one day is enough to know you want more. We crossed into 🇧🇼 Botswana for a day in Chobe National Park and came away with one experience we’ll never forget, one thing we’d definitely do differently, and a very strong desire to come back and explore more. ❤️

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

NEW EPISODE: We wanted to see what Zambia had to offer beyond Victoria Falls, so we gave Livingstone more than just a day or two. What we found was a city that gets a lot more interesting once you slow down and start looking past the obvious. We’ll show you what our longer stay actually looked like, including where we stayed, how we got around, and what 10 days cost us. ❤️

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

NEW EPISODE: Yesterday we left Rwanda for Zanzibar and it reminded us just how much our travel days have changed after nearly four years of full-time travel. We’ve learned that the fastest or cheapest option isn’t always the best one, that some decisions are worth making before we’re tired, and that sometimes “good enough” really is good enough. Our next video shares the 9 travel-day rules we live by now. Tell us your travel rules in the comments. ❤️

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

NEW EPISODE: We're jumping ahead because our safari in Kenya was one for the record books. If you think spending hours in a safari vehicle sounds boring, we can assure you it isn’t. Every drive brought a new story: nursing lion cubs, territorial hippos, a jackal pestering a lion, thousands of wildebeest… and one very resourceful leopard. And if you're wondering how close some of these animals got to us? At times, VERY close. The stories kept coming right to the end. We couldn’t stop watching and we hope you won’t either. ❤️

Finding Gina Marie – Travel the World

NEW SUNDAY EPISODE: We just got back from an incredible safari in Kenya—and yes, that video is coming! We have a LOT of footage to sort through. 🦁 In the meantime, we looked back at more than 90 places we’ve stayed and narrowed them down to 9 affordable cities worth staying a month; places where everyday life worked, there was plenty to do, and we still wanted more time. We’d love to hear the places you’d put on your list! ❤️
